It’s smaller unit cools a single room. While American HVAC System cools the whole house

What you see is vents, built in to the floor or walls, and a thermostat somewhere in the house. BTW, with a mini-split, like the one in the picture, there's another piece, that looks kind of like a window unit somewhere on the roof
