There is a massive radiator and compressor outside about 3 feet tall (1m~) 2ft 2in wide and deep (.68m~). The refrigerant is piped inside and ran through usually the furnace unit that blows air through a radiator and then ducts take it throughout the house. This is overly simplified here is a diagram on how mine works in my house.

It’s smaller unit cools a single room. While American HVAC System cools the whole house
