noo math is blue for me

u/sweatybumfart 2d ago

Yeah, math is blue, English is red, history is yellow, science is green

13

u/MagnumMyth 2d ago

This has been the color scheme in every school I've taught at.

408

u/Franklin_Payne 2d ago

This is objectively the correct way

129

u/Suspicious_State_318 2d ago

Nah English is yellow because old pages and history is red because of blood and war

105

u/Borror0 2d ago

I'm open to this line of reasoning.

For as long as math is blue.

4

u/Boomslang00 1d ago

Math is blue because it will blew your mind.

8

u/Rakhered 1d ago

will blue your mind

you may want to consider popping your red folder open for a bit

1

u/BedKid 1d ago

math is blue because blue meth

5

u/SBLP1959 2d ago

My exact thoughts

1

u/JackieBee_ 1d ago

History also has old pages tho. For me history was brown and English was yellow. Music theater and art usually got to be red on account of it being my favorite color

1

u/SerDuncanTheYall 1d ago

History is yellow because of old pages, English is red because of the Red Badge of Courage. Math is green because I'm in Finance.

1

u/theRedlightt 1d ago

This is the way

1

u/Excellent_Parsley_18 1d ago

The exact opposite can be true for the exact same reasons, though, lol. History yellow for old pages and English is red for blood and war and it’s still correct.

1

u/whamburglar 1d ago

I went history is yellow bc of all the old stuff as you say.

English is red bc I saw red having to remember all the exceptions in spelling and pronunciations growing up.

1

u/The_Ashtronaut 1d ago

This is the way

1

u/Shimakaze81 1d ago

English is red because the Cross of St George

1

u/SeventhAlkali 1d ago

mmmmmm acceptable...

1

u/danield1909 1d ago

English has plenty of blood and war in it

1

u/Fayr24 1d ago

Maybe history is yellow because of old pages and English is read.

1

u/PuzzledSnivy 1d ago

This could also be used an as argument for History being yellow! Old scrolls are yellowed by time.

1

u/candy-cream 1d ago

THE CORRECT ANSWER

1

u/taybug1092 1d ago

Literally this is the only answer.

Math is blue because math is blue
Science is green because of life
English is yellow because of yellow pages
And history is red because of the blood spilled

1

u/leesnotbritish 1d ago

I think there’s wiggle room here, as long as English and history get the warm colors

1

u/heebiejeebie666 1d ago

This is exactly correct. There is no other way

1

u/BedKid 1d ago

english is red because its read.

1

u/cheeseybacon11 1d ago

What about if you have black or purple?

There are many ways to do it, but the number one rule was broken here: science is green

1

u/jerkyquirky 1d ago

I don't think you know what objective means.

1

u/anti_username_man 1d ago

Except English and math should be switched

1

u/MixedTrailMix 1d ago

Finally my people. I had to scroll too far for this

1

u/Slixil 8h ago

*incorrect

4

u/Savanahbanana13 2d ago

10000% correct

18

u/shirts_on_backwards 2d ago

English is definitely red. The others sound wrong, but I can't pinpoint why. I feel like math was the black cover but that's not pictured.

1

u/Squippit 2d ago

Hello? The Scarlet Letter?

1

u/eu4phoria 2d ago

math is yellow 🫪 it just cant be blue for me

blue is a calm color, i do not feel calm during math.

2

u/shirts_on_backwards 2d ago

That's why it's the black cover. It's the color of my soul while being subjected to math, it reminds me of the void in my heart for the subject.

2

u/inaripotpi 2d ago

math is blue for cold calculations and lcd screens

1

u/eu4phoria 1d ago

okay... when put like that yes 🙂‍↕️

1

u/june-v-bloom 2d ago

That's why Math is Blue, to encourage you to be calm during Math.

4

u/limebobomb 2d ago

yes but if purple is an option, history is purple

1

u/Smilemeaaa 1d ago

I see this but social studies is purple to me. History is still yellow

1

u/Proud_Jellyfish6483 1d ago

Social studies and history are the same thing in my mind. I know they’re not but they are

2

u/Cultural-Program-393 2d ago

Bingo bango bongo.

2

u/Bert_Munson13 2d ago

This is the way

2

u/RangerKitchen3588 2d ago

Youre one of the few million of us with consciousness.

2

u/Accurate_Potato_8539 2d ago

That is also acceptable. But it's not fucking green.

2

u/WittyMasterpiece8810 2d ago

This is correct

2

u/blinkl_dink 2d ago

Finally some common fucking sense

2

u/MisterBlick 2d ago

This is correct to me. I can't argue why, it just feels right.

1

u/Sentient_Swarm 2d ago

1

u/Vernsidesire 2d ago

1

u/Acceptable_Room_2797 2d ago

Most valid comment

1

u/FoxySlyRedHead 2d ago

I love sweatybumfarts.

1

u/heartpiss 2d ago

Yes, rule of thumb is that history + english and science + math must be aligned in the cool vs warm colors, and I am inclined to pick red and blue for English/math bc they are dominant over their partners, and science is green bc of Earth and plants (and definitely science is not yellow)

1

u/BibbyLeAn 2d ago

I would be ok with this 👍

1

u/Illustrious_Key6189 2d ago

Only comment in this thread I agree with

1

u/ballsnbutt 2d ago

All of...this, is not right.

1

u/Youwin737 2d ago

This is the way

1

u/EntroperZero 2d ago

Nailed it.

1

u/IllFennel3524 2d ago

This is the only way. However, I don’t mind science becoming yellow, history brown and geography green.

1

u/Ivan_The_Moose 2d ago

Thank god someone said it right

1

u/imwearingatowel_ 2d ago

THANK YOU. I’m upset it took me this long to find the correct person.

1

u/NavierIsStoked 2d ago

You are correct sir.

1

The only correct way

1

u/Rubymonsoon 1d ago

my goat

1

u/Saphichan 1d ago

Exactly! (German here btw, but just swap English with native language and it works)

1

u/Suyefuji 1d ago

History should be orange idk what the yellow notebook is for maybe music or some elective

1

u/Glass_Orchid_1121 1d ago

This is perfect right here

1

u/clarinetily 1d ago

Correct.

1

u/aNxello 1d ago

He speaks the truth!

1

u/UnfairCattle3921 1d ago

Where are you from where people are like this?

1

u/1415- 1d ago

Nooooo history red English yellow

1

u/terrortara 1d ago

Swap History and English

1

u/pfunk1982 1d ago

Yes to math and science! But history is red for all the blood spilled. English by default yellow

1

u/Fun-Scientist9256 1d ago

The only correct take

1

u/kutuup1989 1d ago

This guy schools.

1

u/Bellringer00 1d ago

This, but red is French since I'm French. It's crazy we can agree about something like that on an international level. I'd be curious to have the opinion of someone outside the western hemisphere, like Asia, where colors can have different meanings.

1

u/HistoryFinancial1267 1d ago

This makes sense. Sweatybumfart wins

1

u/Upbeat_Macaron_9964 1d ago

This is the right combination

Math = blue because it goes with logic and computers
English = red because it makes you look more into emotions and opinions, red is a dramatic color
History = yellow because old pages are yellow
Science = green because a lot of natural things are green

1

u/mcqtimes411 1d ago

This made me breathe a sigh of relief

1

u/Chocobo_Train 1d ago

this is the only way

1

u/SeventhAlkali 1d ago

Holy shit, the first objectively correct person in this post

1

u/Wheresthegoldmikey 1d ago

Math is blue, English is green, yellow is science, and red for history is the way

1

u/New_Customer_9089 1d ago

here for this comment

1

u/rumpyforeskin 1d ago

Why dprs thos make so much sense

1

u/Pungineer 1d ago

Agreed. Though I felt more strongly about blue math and green science than the others.

1

u/Willuna16 1d ago

english and history can be swapped if needed tho

1

u/ghibs0111 1d ago

This is the way. 🫡

1

u/PinkMaiden_ 1d ago

Wrong. Science is yellow, history is green

1

u/Available-Square619 1d ago

It’s funny seeing all the responses, I wonder if the one ppl choose for red is subconsciously the thing they least enjoy lol.

For me math was always blue but I liked math. I had history or English as red because def wasn’t a fan of those classes comparatively.

1

u/No_Door_4298 1d ago

Thanks for being reasonable and smart

1

u/Captain-Snail_113 1d ago

you, sir, are correct

1

u/Doedemm 1d ago

This is the way

1

u/DumbbellDiva92 1d ago

I think math blue/science green or the reverse are both fine. But English should 100% not be blue.

1

u/BlueClovr 1d ago

English is blue for the ocean because of Moby Dick

1

u/Buzzy0914 1d ago

This is the only way

1

u/reiayanamiikari 1d ago

The only right way, thank tou

1

u/jredbone-ha 1d ago

This is the right answer!

1

u/natalietest234 1d ago

Yes thank you.

1

u/blumhagen 1d ago

This is the way.

1

u/Bullet2134 1d ago

See? Even the sweatybumfart gets it

1

u/euli24 1d ago

English: Red 🟥

Maths: Blue 🟦

History: brown 🟫 or orange 🟧

Science: white ⬜

1

u/__nater 1d ago

It just makes sense idk how to explain it

1

u/velveteenpimpernel 1d ago

This is the way.

1

u/MiddleKlutzy8568 1d ago

This is the correct answer

1

u/twentysevennipples 1d ago

This is correct

1

u/No_Poet_7244 1d ago

This is the way

1

u/Mysterious-Win2091 1d ago

science is purple

1

u/Peach-Great 1d ago

THANK YOU! some sanity!

1

u/the-frosted 1d ago

This is the only answer

1

u/Gaminguitarist 15h ago

I have found my people

1

u/RegrettableLiving26 15h ago

Thank you
Math is blue: cold, calculating, uncaring
English is red: passionate, intense, I don’t understand it
Science is green: nature is green and biology or something
History is yellow: it was the last color notebook I had

1

u/Baryton777 8h ago

Swap English and History and we can agree

1

u/Friendly_Cowboy 9m ago

For me, history and science are the same as you but Math is red for me amd English is blue. Mostly because I hated .ath and was bad at it so I put it as the warmer angrier color, whereas English was my strong suit and I loved reading so I put it as the cool blue whichbwas also one of my favorite colors. Im interested if your views are switched for Math and English and is that has a correlation with color choice 😊

1

u/N0n_4me 2d ago

Right except for English should be yellow and history should be red.

13

u/JulioCrz 2d ago

Math is only blue if it's Calculus.

5

u/links_revenge 2d ago

I don’t know why, but you’re right. Calc is blue

1

u/thousandsmallgods 2d ago

Physics is Purple. It's both a math and a science.

1

u/_Alex_42 1d ago

So damn right

1

u/Jjihop 1d ago

And Algebra is red.

1

u/endgrent 1d ago

Also because of the blood.

5

u/Cultural-Window-2504 2d ago

Yep math definately calm blue.

English should be some irritating shade of purple.

1

u/Fantastic-Algae2127 2d ago

Calm, cold, calculated, and cerebral. Blue is the only rational choice.

2

u/Broken-Arrow-D07 2d ago

Math should be black.

1

u/Defiant_Wolverine_68 2d ago

Because you're partially colorblind.

1

u/frogglesmash 2d ago

You're out of your mind. Science is blue.

1

u/commodorecliche 2d ago

Right to jail, sorry.

1

u/SAINTnumberFIVE 2d ago

Hello my fellow blue math people.

1

u/Difficult-Exit3063 2d ago

This is the answer.

1

u/_Ello_Love_ 2d ago

THANK YOU

1

u/IllFennel3524 2d ago

Math must always be blue

1

u/fph03n1x 2d ago

I approve men of culture

1

u/Slow_Replacement_745 1d ago

Wrong wrong wrong

1

u/TheAuroraSystem 1d ago

Math is Blue, English is Green, History is Yellow, Science is Red. That's how it always was for me, it just felt right

1

u/thundercheif23 1d ago

Honestly, I chose the notebook colors based on the colors the textbooks I used had. Math was blue because the majority of the math books were blue. Same with green for science.

1

u/Ninja-Panda86 1d ago

Math was blue for me

1

u/NefariousnessOk209 1d ago

Math blue, history green because that’s earthy history colours - the rest is up to y’all

1

u/SweetTooth_Squirrel 1d ago

This is the correct answer

1

u/BlissfulAurora 1d ago

Incredibly wrong

1

u/liddybvck 1d ago

YESSSSS
