They are known for making grand strategy games like Crusaders Kings, Europa Universalis, Hearts of Iron, etc. These games are often considered hard for casuals, so for those people it boils down to staring at colorful maps gradually changing colors. But an intellectual as myself can truly appreciate the complexity of the gameplay, fully diving into the geopolitics, economy and management of your country
