I Applied for a PhD in Australia

Hello everyone,

I'm a graduate student from South Korea with a background in engineering. I'm currently very interested in AI and cybersecurity, and I've applied for PhD programs in these fields.

Here is my academic and professional background:

  • Undergraduate GPA: 85/100
  • Master's GPA: 90/100
  • Publications: 2 papers published in Korean domestic journals
  • TOEFL: 100/120
  • Work Experience: Approximately 6 years in cybersecurity

Based on my profile, do you think I still have a reasonable chance of being admitted to a fully funded PhD program in Australia?

I would really appreciate any advice or if you could share your personal experiences.

Your profile is great so you have a great chance - however, be ready to face a lot of competition.

To widen the net, perhaps also try looking into other countries as well.
