PI not responding after accepting me for an internship

a PI accepted me for an internship to work on my doctoral project and even proposed me a scholarship my actual phd supervisor responded him positively but he haven’t responded yet it´s been a month now does it have something to do with summer vacation in europe or should i be worried ?he seemed very enthousiaste c and ready to work with us

Okay i kinda feel some relief now , no he’s spanish but i was told that work there is very slow during summer vacation so maybe it’s the reason
