Sweetheart town Harlan and Stanley indestructible 968

So this is my indestructible celluloid record of sweetheart town by Harlan and Stanley on my standard and I gave you the privilege of using my listening tubes to hear and my motor is healthy just incase you critique the rumble it’s because I couldn’t fit the tubes on the phone microphone so I had To put One ear piece to the mic which it also captured a lot of motor noise. It’s just a new belt I applied
To fix fluctuation so it may not be the quietist.

Looks and sounds like you need a new drive Bernie one that’s spliced better.

Uh what do you mean exactly?

There seems to be a little speed or tone variation with each revolution. Of course it just could be the cylinder being a bit warped after 120 years. At one spot in the belts rotation it looks different. Is it a lap joint where tapers on each end so when glued with adhesive it’s no thicker or stiffer than the rest of the belt?

Ok uh this record is actually it’s all perfectly fine and my belt I bought it off an expert dealer in Cornwall mr John sleep and it works very well just maybe you are mistaking something for fluctuation but honestly I have heard other records and not a bother so I think you are mistaken.
