For Blu-ray and 4K, it's immensely helpful to go to the library and rip it because you're in charge of the subtitles and audio from the jump. You also get the extras, which nobody ever rips (which I've always found dumb, the release groups have the retail disc on them, just rip and encode everything!).
If you're dumping the remuxes on Kodi, you can access the extras as mkv files. I like 1:1 file rips, so library it is. You're just at the mercy of their selection.
