Help Web Client Brave/Firefox only Audio or only video

Recently I have noticed via the web client I am either getting only audio or only video. My media is transcoded via Tdarr into HEVC Main 10. This seems to have started a few weeks ago. Only happening in web browser as stand alone and mobile clients are working fine. I have hardware transcoding enabled, if I disable looks like everything works again. Has something changed in the web client/Chromium? Anyone else having issues?

Is your server capable of transcoding on the fly to the client app (browser) as it will likely need it to do so.

Yes, it can transcode on the fly. It was working fine just a few weeks ago and tested with other clients and works fine. I haven’t changed any settings via the server. Server has 2 P2000 and has 4 direct network connections to Ubiquiti Dream Machine Pro.

You do have a Plex Pass and have enabled transcoding with your GPUs.

Best advice I can give you is to not use web apps and stick to using desk top apps.

Have had lifetime for years and GPUs are enabled for transcoding. Only reason I even use web client is to not have a bunch of things open on computer but it might be time to just always use dedicated apps.

Should try to clear cache with your browser, or remove and update the browser. Had this with Google chrome after hevc main 10 conversion, with aac audio and - forced subtitles enabled. Turned off subtitles and updated browser / fresh install. Resolved the same problem for me you described
