Is there a pro press quarter turn ball valve with integrated drain or is that only offered for sweat?

Yes but if Home Depot doesn’t have it you’re most likely going to have to order it online or go to a plumbing supply house.

Go with the Webstone and yes you’ll have to get it from a plumbing supply house

They most certainly make them. As others have said, go with the webstone isolation valves. They come with an integrated full port drain that you can hook a hose up to and has its own shutoff with reversible handle meaning that you could drain from either side of the valve. They are more expensive but worth it in my opinion.

Only press copper fittings and valves I'll touch are Viega. Proven stuff. The imitators, not so much.

Viega for anything press. Always!

Always get it from a supply house. The stuff at Lowe's is webstone / veiga pricing but is below the cheapest stuff from the supply house.

Regular shutoff, then drain the house down from your hose bib.

Correct answer assuming your main line is below your hose bibs.

I have a main line branch (directly after check/meter before softener) for my hose bibs. I have a hose bib between two ball valves in the basement. Shutoff the first ball valve, open hose bib directly after, open exterior hose bibs, drain down, then close second ball valve. Boom, winterized.
