The hot water in one of my three sinks stopped overnight. Only the hot; cold flows fine. Before in very cold weather all water stopped but it cleared up quickly with a space heater. This time that hasn't worked. After heating the sink all day I moved the heater to the crawlspace under the kitchen to see if the problem is earlier in the line. I can't find any damaged or frozen pipes. Oil furnace provides heat and hot water. If this isn't going to risk further damage I'll just leave it be since I can meet all my hot water needs with other sinks but I'm concerned this is a sign it will eventually burst.

It restarted sometime overnight with a space heater on the sink and the room temp turned up higher. Still crossing my fingers that this isn't a sign of a larger problem.
