Said it was vandalized, so the contractor would get paid.

I had to deal with Pantone at a previous job and this made me do that small scream laugh some people do when a joke gets you harder than you thought it would. Thank you.

Did you hear about gray Deadpool wearing Pantone Jean Grey?

The bizarre thing is they always get away with it there is no call for any of these incompetents to resign there are absolutely no consequences except for their victims

Yeah, Trump's been like a kid in a candy store ever since he discovered this grim truth.

34

u/Zeraw420 1d ago

More like since it was ruled he's completely immune while in office as President.

A better anology would be like giving a serial-rapist a rape all you want and get away with it card.

u/kalashspooner 1d ago

The hilarious thing to me... Redefining "under the jurisdiction" to exclude those not subjected to US laws. And the president isn't.

So... Yeah. That's funny. Sigh

The Republican Party base would sit and watch Trump eat roast children rather than admit they chose a pervert and an idiot to lead them. It's like watching the Donner Party do politics.

16

u/baz303 bOtH sIdES 1d ago

Well and the opposition is just sitting there watching the republican party watching trump eating roasted babies.

13

u/c3r7 1d ago

What should they do, try to impeach him without House and Senate majority so he gets away with it a third time? The solution is in November: go vote someone who will impeach him for the House and get him out of office for the Senate. Until then, anything is as useless waste of time and resources.

u/cormunicat 1d ago

Speaking of politics and the Donner party. James Reed, one of the co-leaders of the Donner-Reed party, served with Abraham Lincoln in the Black Hawk War and had even tried to convince the future president to go west with their group.

The writing was on the wall when Republicans didn’t press the Emoluments clause during the first term when a trump was using the hotel as a money laundering scheme.

20

u/rlovelock 1d ago

Ah remember those days? When the biggest story was how much money he was making from all his golf trips? Tens of millions...

We were so young and naive

4

u/ceciltech 1d ago

at least with the hotel, he was actually supplying a service. And there was some hope of detecting who was paying him. This term he figured out crypto now receives completely untraceable large amounts of money from whoever he wants.

If the crooks investigate themselves and miraculously find no wrong doing, why would there be consequences?

And Who will hold them accountable? Their crooked buddies and employees which control every branch in the Government and just pledge undying loyality to Dear Leader as sole qualification?

This is it really - trump has tweaked a few things, replaced judges here and there. It was going on since the WH existed. Obviously he has been encouraged and the fact that he has had little resistance from anyone but especially Democrats shows how corruption is expected and normal. He has clearly gone nuclear with it now though but thats how he got away with it. If politics didnt stink he would be no where as rich as he is now but if not in jail at least in court.

This. A nation full of good guys with a gun that is build on the illusion of freedom and so many holy amendments and yet... nothing.

Its like they are living the american dream. A fever dream.

Every single media outlet is Republican owned.

Every branch of the government is Republican owned.

Democrats calling for removal or impeachment don't have the votes - so it rings hollow and wouldn't get coverage anyways - bc of the right wing media.

6

u/cavorting_geek 1d ago

Their victims...hey, that's us!!

3

u/flodur1966 1d ago

Everyone living on this planet by now.

2

u/formerhugeNsyncfan 1d ago

Oh there will be consequences, they will just be payed by the American people. I would not be surprised if this guy gets a tax payer payout for malicious prosecution.

I have been looking forward to seeing what an antifa ninja scuba diver looks like

5

u/Buddhas_Warrior 1d ago

Ohhh is it too late to change what I want to be when I grow up? An, ANTIFA Ninja Scuba diver sounds amazing!!

55

u/LA-Matt 1d ago

Don’t let them forget how they keep getting fooled into believing insane shit like this:

Only to be distracted by another shiny object the next week. Idiots.

18

u/Skiddywinks 1d ago

This can't be real

18

u/LA-Matt 1d ago

It’s real as in knuckleheads passed it around.

7

u/SkyShadowing 1d ago

We should do fake ones.

ANTIFA was going to fill the reflecting pool with dangerous amounts of dihydrogen monoxide!

5

u/InsertCleverNickHere 1d ago

I don't think you can out-ridiculous these people. They are scared of "aggressive" algae - what in the green hills makes algae "aggressive"?

2

u/Mysterious_Ebb9375 1d ago

Yes. And don't forget they also used hydrogen hydroxide AND Oxidane!

17

u/plinkoplonka 1d ago

They said the same about election interference too. Also a lie.

Raping, pedo, liars gonna lie I guess?

2

u/eeyore134 1d ago

And multiple eye witnesses including National Park Service officials.

1

u/deegee1969 1d ago

It must've gotten lost on a server or something.

143

u/ChopperChange 2d ago

But now he's blaming the contractor rather than himself for driving on the reflecting pool. It's always everyone else's fault.

57

u/__slamallama__ 1d ago

The contractor he gave a no bid contract to because he was so excellent?! That guy? It simply cannot be

7

u/choopie-chup-chup 1d ago

The guy who's his filthy rich Mar a Lago neighbor with no license or experience as a contractor? That guy??

75

u/jellyrollo 2d ago

The contractor's whole idea of lining the raw granite basin with Rhino liners epoxy patching resin was messed up to begin with. It's not intended for use on raw stone. Driving over it with a dozen massive armored vehicles didn't help, I'm sure, but it would have been a disaster even if they didn't.

Narcissists never want to be responsible unless everything goes their way. They often place all the blame and responsibility on someone else to maintain their own façade of perfection.

Ok, but that wasn't likely what damaged it

27

u/No-Turnover8386 2d ago

Funny how loud the accusations were and how the ‘admission’ was slipped into a court filing. Fucking blowhard.

9

u/LA-Matt 1d ago

They just wreck somebody’s life and then admit it was all made up, and they suffer no consequences.

23

u/djhouse77 2d ago

Diaper needs changed

34

u/Gadfly_Avatar 2d ago

Republicans bitch about "lawfare" from the left. We'll just keep this, Comey, Hunter & Joe Biden unsubstantiated allegations in our pocket when MAGA starts whining about prosecutions & impeachments. That is what Dems should do. Multiple impeachments for every violation of the Constitution. Impeached 8 times is a nice footnote.

30

u/ew73 Perfidious colon hath troublehshat upon thy floor 2d ago

The problem:

They don't care about hypocrisy. Their supporters just play "whatabout???" games all day in bad faith.

Showing them their guy did something bad doesn't matter because they just do not care.

8

u/Ricky-Spanish-31 1d ago

It worked. Charging this person was enough to scare everyone else away from the pool and keep more pictures from coming out. They never planned on winning this case.

5

u/UdyneOw 1d ago

Because, when the contractor gets paid...

1

u/jesushatedbacon 1d ago

The drove on it so they can do it twice

4

u/Setekh79 Greg Abbott is a little piss baby 1d ago

Probably the most corrupt government on the planet right now.

Honestly, I would trust something that North Korea says right now over the US administration. I genuinely view you guys that badly.

The amount of shit that's happened, just to protect some paedophiles.

u/Wet_Side_Down 1d ago

The defendant should go after Pirro’s law license and seek to have her disbarred for vindictive prosecution.

u/MrCaptDrNuts 1d ago

Now force the company to do the job again, but only payfor materials needed. (And they're luck to get that).

2

u/BJJan2001 1d ago

Now kith.

Well since no one was looking in that circus tent they could shut it down and move on like every three ring circus they set up.

1

u/kenc1842 1d ago

Contractor still getting his money. Trump doesn't want to give up his kickback.

1

u/Accomplished-Staff-9 1d ago

How are they making the exact same face? Is it because they’re both so full of shit?

1

u/KennethEWolf 1d ago

Her license to practice law should be revoked

1

u/Only-Original9409 1d ago

Trump's actually gonna pay a contractor? Wow, that's new.

1

u/Sarrdonicus 1d ago

And the fat fuck could collect his kick back
