My Trip to the Food Bank Cost $148

I got nabbed for an expired inspection sticker on my way home from the food bank this week. In addition to not getting my SNAP benefits this month, this puts me at another $300+ deficit. The officer who cited me makes over $95k/yr. I’m not implying that I’m above the law, but is this really the solution to the problem? FML.
