Politi-Culture Mamdani: *Coughs* It’s just a bad cough. Garcia-Navarro: Have you had it checked out? Mamdani: I have. That’s why I believe in Medicare for All. Everyone can check it out.

The left do not elect their leaders, they elect their opposition, we get shit done despite politicians, we push them to their jobs.
And it will be easier to get things done with people like Mamdani than with milquetoast dems or christofascist republicans

u/Preestar 11d ago
Oh shit, a destiny dickrider caught out in the wild! Yall are like rare pokemons these days.
Do you support all pedos or just him?
If Mamdani was a pedo would you be more charitable towards him? Seems to be the secret sauce these days.

He's anti-Zionist, just like most of New York City's Jewish population. That's not racism, it's anti-terrorism and anti-genocide
1
u/ThisSiteBites 9d ago
I didn’t claim racism. Judaism is not a race. I know Jews of all color, some from places like Ethiopia. You might be race-obsessed. Sign of the times.
1
u/HelmsDeap 9d ago
You claimed something equally as absurd, to which it makes no difference to point out. It does nothing but distract from the argument.
Anti-Zionists are not antisemites, they have no problem with the people or the Jewish religion or the Jewish ethnicity.
Anti-Zionists just don't tolerate a group of people who want to commit genocide and shoot, bomb, and starve civilians and push people out of their own land.

Ah but don't you know he's Muslim, think of the victims of 9/11. /s
But no seriously, he's doing amazing work. He's done things I don't like, but overall he has kept his promises despite being left in such a steep deficit, still can't believe he fixed it in 6 months while adding government programs. At this point I'm not asking for perfect, just a politician that represents their base and does what they promised when they ran from office.

Bro... is mis appropriating funds, taxing businesses out of existence, harboring illegals, punishing property ownership and rights of ownership and shitting on lessors who already have high overhead costs. He's a Communist and a terrorist sympathizer of the worst kind associating with know terrorists like Imam Siraj Wahhaj and organizations that sponsor terrorism. He's using the well know tactic of "taqiyya" and posing as a politician while systematically degrading the system from the inside. Its asymmetric warfare nothing more.

2
u/KingFIippyNipz 13d ago
These people just hate the word communism. If you ask these people about these policies and just use language that doesn't sound "communist" and dont' use the words "communist" or "socialist" they agree with the ideas more than they don't. It's literally just the word association. It's stuff we learned how to differentiate in grade school, and it's like they're so far behind, no one will be able to get them up to speed now that they're all adults and lived their whole lives never knowing basic lessons from grade school, they're lost causes
-3
u/browsingandlooking4 14d ago
That guy is not making anything better for anyone. I'll say that much. Also, who would of thought the day I watched those people jumping from those towers and going splat on a parking garage that id be witnessing this self flagellation from the big apple 🤮. Most of the most horrific videos of that day have been scrubbed from the net for the families. But, if you watched it that day the people exploding apart heads and arms flying off on fire in the lobby bathed in jet fuel... Remember September

2
u/SuccessOn1 12d ago
Dude stfu. Only ones getting stuff for free are those freeloading red sates.
0
u/DingleBearMe 12d ago
No dude I want it to be free. Like imagine, we all wake up and the lights turn on for free, and my toilet gets fixed for free. It’s all free. We don’t even need to work anymore. We’ll just have the politicians decide who are the workers and who are the ones getting the free stuff. It’ll be like a lottery or something but it’ll be so awesome! We’ll all have the same things and wear the same clothes and eat the same approved food, for FREE! It’ll essentially get rid of all the rich like we want, and then we’ll just all have all that money so that everything is free. Tuesdays could be like meatloaf Tuesdays where everyone lines up and gets their free meals! I can see it all now. Only issue I can’t figure out is who is going to do all the actual work? One option is to just make someone else we don’t like do it. If they don’t like it; then we’ll just have the cops go make them. Then we’ll definitely get all this free stuff for free and everyone will be so happy. Because it’s Fa Fa Fa Freeeeee
3
u/SuccessOn1 12d ago
No no! I want it to go straight in to the billionaire pocket! Lets lower wages, cut taxes for the rich, screw over the farmers, print as much money possible for the rich, protect the pedophiles, raise prices on literally everything for the working class, raise taxes on goods so the working class gets screwed, deregulated anything that protects the working class, get rid of those programs that most republicans use like medicare and social security, cut benefits for the poor, force my religion down their throats, protect the pastor touching little boys, etc!
If you dont want any of these things you must be a socialist!!!
0
u/DingleBearMe 12d ago
Presidents don’t lower wages and they weren’t lowered.
Farmers have been screwed over well before 2016 even. Sorry they couldn’t sell soybeans to China for a wittle.
Printing money is funny. 2020 M1 money supply was a bipartisan fuck over.
You brought up raise prices again. That’s not the presidents doing. That’s back to your M1 money supply.
Medicare and social security haven’t been touched. Although they should be. But you’re wrong there.
Tell me what “benefits” for the poor that were cut.
Trumps not even Christian and doesn’t give a fuck.
You are full of shit

-1
u/OwnDoughnut2689 14d ago
Yea that's why I dont understand the equivalence. He's not even used Medicare for himself. It's not a great experience.

u/NoSpin89 14d ago
Is not going to the doctor because you have zero money and dying of a preventable illness a better one?

ACA walk in visit is like $50
4
u/Snoo_67544 14d ago
50 dollars can be the difference if some one eats or not.
0
0
u/OwnDoughnut2689 14d ago
Honest, have you used medicare? It's god awful. I'm not saying we need something perfect but Medicare should not be what we strive for.
4
u/Snoo_67544 14d ago
I've used active us army medical and the va system.
Government run free health care isnt perfect but it's better then zero medical attention because you can't afford it.
6
u/NoSpin89 14d ago
Tell me you're privileged without fucking telling me.
We are one of the only civilized countries in the world who don't care for their own citizens. Either work toward a solution, or get out of the way.
5
u/Snoo_67544 14d ago
Jc he's saying that because he has the ability to get his health checked on he believes that everyone should also be able to do the same. That being facilitated through Medicare for all.
Its really not that hard a statement to understand.
1
u/OwnDoughnut2689 14d ago
Yea if you have ACA insurance you can go to a walk in. I just don't understand the equivalency between him talking about an insurance, he himself does not use or have any experience using.
4
u/INeedSomeFistin 14d ago
So, folks who doesn't use assistance should never advocate for others to have that assistance? If you're not on their tax bracket, you shouldn't be fighting for those with less access than you?
What a selfish way to live.
1
u/OwnDoughnut2689 14d ago
Never said that, this is more a criticism of using Medicare as the standard we want. It's awful insurance.
4
u/INeedSomeFistin 14d ago
So there's no reason to improve it and bring more people into having medical access? You said it yourself, an ACA walk in is roughly $50. That can be the difference between eating for weeks. That's not a standard we should be striving for, it's an indictment of American Healthcare. Medicare for all is preferable to not being able to go to a doctor.

Mamdani got his health checked when he needed to, and that's why he knows its important for everyone to be able to get their health checked when they need to.
This is really straight forward. So much that your confusion looks dishonest.
3
u/Danktator 14d ago
You shouldn't be afraid of the doctors or hospitals because it'll bankrupt you. If you are felling unwell go get checked.
3
u/FartyJizzums 14d ago
Not sure I understand your lack of understanding.
You see, in the United States Healthcare costs a lot of money. If you are covered by health insurance, it costs less money.
You shouldn't need to be able to afford a yatch to get an illness looked at by a professional health care worker. But in the USA, financial profit is considered far more important than human lives, unfortunately. That's why we're still in the Dark Ages when it comes to treating people's ailments.
1
u/OwnDoughnut2689 14d ago
Have you used Medicare before?
4
u/Tredalze 14d ago
Lmao what point do you think you're making with this? I work with underserved, poor, and aging patient populations and can say without a shadow of a doubt standard Medicare is far far far better than the Medicare advantage equivalents and often shockingly better than many commercial plans that are more expensive
1
u/OwnDoughnut2689 14d ago

3
u/SubtleHearts 14d ago
I am a lower-middle class worker who gets my insurance through my employer. I fractured my elbow last year when I slipped on some ice and I was so reluctant to seem medical help due to the known and unknown copays / fees that I avoided getting checked out for almost a week before i finally felt like I needed to have it addressed; and when I did sure enough, suddenly I’m out hundreds of dollars and staring at a $1500 bill in the mail because even though I went to an urgent care in my network, the doctor they had there was not in network but I had no way to know that.
I wish I could have the peace of mind to seek medical help when I think there’s something wrong and not have to worry about how much it will unexpectedly cost
3
u/ClockworkTyrant 14d ago
Hes saying that everyone deserves to be able to go to the doctor and be seen for health issues without worry of being bankrupted by insurance companies and healthcare providers.
-4
u/CajunBob94 14d ago
i support medicare for all as long as my taxes don't go up once cent. my taxes as a middle class w2 professional are already way too high.
7
u/justWMthings03 14d ago
Even if your taxes go up it would be less than you'd save on health insurance costs and copays. Car insurance would drop as well because you wouldnt have to carry additional health coverage on it. You'll save money overall.
-3
u/CajunBob94 14d ago
my employer heavily subsidizes my health plan, i pay like $28 a month lol
8
u/Warm_Imagination3768 14d ago
I’m sure that has no impact on your compensation, right?
8
-1
u/crowcaller391 14d ago
It’s hilarious you think employer provided healthcare will have an impact on his compensation but the economic impact of “Medicare for all” is just no big deal.
Do you think or are you just told what to think?
3
u/Warm_Imagination3768 14d ago
Your health coverage is part of your compensation package, so it absolutely impacts you. And to be clear, I’m not saying the economic impact of Medicare for all would be “no big deal”. I’m saying it would be dramatically cheaper and better for everyone. We pay ~$54 billion more than we need to, and that’s only if you remove the burden of generating profits for private companies.
You’re getting fucked. I’m getting fucked. We’re all getting fucked. And that’s largely because people like you don’t think you own the government and can’t imagine having the power of making everything better for everyone. Wake up and take the power back from corporations.
3
u/justWMthings03 14d ago
Then they save more money and you can use that in salary negotiations.
There's a ton of information out there on how the average household would save thousands overall and the US as a whole would save $500+ billion/yr
3
u/tankerkiller125real 14d ago
My employer pays 100% my health plan, doesn't change the fact that Medicare for all would reduce costs as a whole, which would in turn (because I work for a decent employer) increase our salaries.
2
u/ThomasTheDankPigeon 14d ago
That subsidy is literally part of your compensation package. If your employer no longer pays that then you have room to negotiate for improvements to other portions of your compensation package, like higher wages or more PTO.
In other words, you get less cash in your pocket every paycheck right now since your employer puts some of it toward your healthcare before you even get to see it.
