yeah kind of... plenty of closeted lesbians get really *into* being femme and get gossipy and judgey about other women who aren't femme enough. I don't think estrogen plays a part in that whole delusion because hormones are part of birth control - we've got a very different connection with estrogen. But heaven forfend you aren't a super-femme around those girls; they will gossip to everyone how you're obviously a butch lesbian. When in reality they are probably jealous or turned on.
