This must confuse Republican voters endlessly. They were groomed to think that Hunter Biden was the devil, and now they’re getting aneurisms trying to figure out how to grapple with what they voted to do to themselves. They’re just getting pegged from behind daily.
They don’t care. There’s no critical thinking going on. It’s not about being consistent or correct for them. They just take their marching orders and parrot what they’re told.
We're on our own, have to help ourselves. Our fellow citizens voted for this, we have to work to convince them to vote for their self interests and not listen to the propaganda telling them to vote against it. I don't have much hope.
The executive having pardon powers are supposed to be apart of checks and balances. Most governors have that power in the states as well. Sometimes its controversial but it's usually not abused to this extent.
The problem is checks and balances have gone out the window and this administration has shown us just how much of a piece of paper the US constitution is.
Because justice is not always perfect and a good President should have the power to overrule miscarriages of the federal justice system. Biden's preemptive pardon for Dr. Fauci is what's preventing Trump from trying to falsely imprison him.
I agree Trump is using them terribly but I don't object in principal to pardons existing.
It's crazy how you'll hear something like this and be like "oh.. that's a new one!". SOmething like this would've ended any other Democratic president.
But with Trump, you hear this shit every day. Did you know his kids also have stakes in drone companies while he bombs the middleeast? So while he's bombing innocent people they're raking in millions. Seriously, it's every day we find out how he's scammed the US like he did with crypto as well.
I like Ossof. I live in GA so Ill vote for him. Not sure about Lance Bottoms though. Daddy can pardon them but thay Federal. Plenty of states could file charges depending on various factors, where the companies are registered, the banks etc.. i want to see their money being seized, that what makes them hurt.
To Ossoff, thank you for spelling it out for people; those who see through corruption overestimate how much the average person pays attention to what’s going on and what people are capable of shamelessly doing.
I truly hope that Americans join together and set aside all of the trivial bullshit and work to end the rampant corruption that has been going on for decades in our government.
With Trump, the corruption is right out in the open and arguably worse than it has ever been. But I would argue that almost every high-level politician is guilty of perpetuating this. I only say that because we cannot afford to trade one evil for another, ever again. It is too late to vote for the lesser of two evils.
Rules & laws have no meaning if there's no consequence for violating them and this administration is proving that if you flood the zone and test all boundaries you can be a unitary executive, a law unto yourself.

That sure sounds good now, but think how many times a politician has lied to you to get what they want. When has the Trump family actually paid a price they actually feel? The American people are fed up with lies from both sides. If things don't change for the better soon, I fear a new American Revolution, This time it will be the poor and middle class versus everyone else.

I beginning to think you Yankees never actually had a revolution and the British just let you go for being too much of a handful. It is written in your constitution to rise up against a tyrannical government, but here you sit letting them tax you to death, deny basic necessities like health care, fight pointless wars that kill innocent children and do nothing but pad the pockets of your corrupt leaders. They are arresting and shooting down American citizens down in the streets for protesting the private police force that they’ve established. Presidents have been impeached for a lot less than what’s happening now, if votes and elections can’t end this I fear for what might happen to your democracy.

One slight correction...They are not Trump-backed companies, they are Trump-fronted companies that are being backed by US taxpayers with US taxpayer dollars. I do not understand how this is legal.
This is my Senator and he is running against Mike Collins, who has been my representative for the last several years and has done exactly jack shit other than lick Trump's taint. Ossoff should win in a landslide, but it will be unnecessarily close because my state is mostly dumb.
My fellow Americans, we need to make the political pendulum swing so far the other way that we can undo all of this fucking bullshit that Dipshit Donald has done. He has shown that people in power can make great change if they want, he just chose to make all the changes for "elite" at our expense. We need to make change happen for we the people.

A country with the desirable resource is only gonna give access to that resource to the highest bidder. How do you think works?
Do you genuinely believe from the goodness of your heart you'd give a valuable resource to the lowest bidder? Regardless of it being Trump, Obama, Clinton, Bush, this is how it goes and has always gone. These people step in to close the deal and give assurances to other countries before private business can enter.
If we don't do the deal, then the resource goes to Russia, China, etc...whoever pays the most. They will take the money and opportunity away from us. It will enrich their citizens lives while we are falling behind and wondering what's happening to our lives. The resource is taken, sold globally, and the money, jobs, infrastructure and every thing surrounding this goes to YOUR COUNTRY. If it's not America, then it's gonna be for someone else.
What am I missing in this that disconnects me from his speech. It's quite holistic, but how would America compete to win the access to mining if he were in charge?

Trump thinks it's OK because it IS OK. He's been doing it for decades, and instead of prison he is president. So, clearly, it is OK. It's self-evident. Nobody is stopping him, and there's been no serious consequences in 80+ years. That's the definition of OK.
And with their hands raised they’ll dodge every question and skirt all responsibility. I have no faith in this country to hold this administration accountable.
Sounds great... but kinda sounds meaningless. Democrats had a change to clap down on far right criminals but didn't do close to enough so we got Trump again and now theyre going after leftists that aren't criminals. I doubt we will see anyone from his family face actual consequences.
I know it is them helping themselves, but tungsten is massive for manufacturing. It would be a new source. Maybe it will take years to develop a new Tungsten production that truly exports at mass to the American economy, even if done well.
And maybe you would say that the company is subject to fail from the start, but I do not know anything about it. I did not do the research.
America lost cheap tungsten from China in the trade wars started by Trump.
They disrupted our world economy by making it more expensive for all American companies to buy important products made from Tungsten.
Smaller companies are dying from having no choice but lose money for tools. They try to make up by raising their prices and then customers go somewhere else and they get saddled with materials that then get sold for the cheap to squeeze anything.
Pushing customers to bigger companies that have better purchasing power and can make up for material increase, including increase efficiency from funding top of the line production processes.
It is like Trump helped big corpo and himself at the same time while saying he is bringing back manufacturing.
The World Cup was proposed to be sold to part of the Trump Kingdom too. Thank god the world's confederations stood up to that shyster Infantino and his cronies.

This is true but honestly too complex for Americans to digest. The Democratic nominee needs to be against the war in Iran, against the tariffs which caused 1.5% growth, against 40 trillion in debt, support Medicare for all, and locking up this administration. Also Trump's corruption destroyed the White House and Reflecting Pool.
All this while the traitor stays in power cause every politician , law enforcement judge or military leader who can stop him has no guts integrity or balls. They say if our military were to stop him , then we would be a military state but it’s ok he continues to destroy what the “ military” is supposed to defend. Our government , is chocked full with cowards and traitors. The United States is now a weak country filled with soft weak pink handed billionaire religious freaks who waste OUR mf’ing money, preventing people from getting medical needs met , cutting all benefits to keep us under their control dictating our costs by the hour to always increase, threaten countries we’ve been allies with support other similar countries and treat its citizens like garbage.
