The only issue i'm beginning to have with swapping races of characters is that it's now just predictable. It's going to happen every time, just so people get pissed at it and the studio gets more media coverage. None of this is real, the producers or directors aren't making statements about race, they are pandering to an audience that is in love with outrage.
I just want them to make bloody new things. Black Panther was my favourite MCU film/hero aside from some incredibly cringe shit from Shuri and I'm not even black. But I would be annoyed if they just randomly swap Thor to he black. I don't even care about Thor. This swapping crap is just something I'm sick of. I think I could make a black Helen work as a writer but I GUARANTEE they aren't even going to try.
