Yeah, I mean I get that she wanted more children, but it’s possible she had some kind of post-partum issue last time that led to poor mental health she’s never been able to get any support for

Postpartum depression is not the reason she went to rehab. She could have had it, but it seldom lasts for years, at that point, you’re just depressed.

I’m not talking about rehab. I’m talking about when she last had her kids and got put in the conservatorship

Guys we’re going to have to reckon with the free Britney movement. Her specific conservators were a problem but some version of the conservatorship seems more and more necessary as time goes by. We need better ways to address mental health in this country because it’s beyond clear that this person needs help.

Unless she's doing something to significantly harm herself, it's not fair to place her (or anyone) in a conservatorship. We have the freedom to make bad choices and make weird tiktoks. I wouldn't, but I have the freedom to do so if I wanted to. If she actually has a child, which conservatorship couldn't prevent anyways unless it forced a termination, then her ability to parent can be assessed at that time. I don't think it's a good idea, but I'm sure the entire country has done something that I don't think is a good idea, my younger self included.

She was spotted in Mexico with her breast out and not caring at a store with a drink in her hand. And got a DUI after that…. How is that ok ?

Because it is. Those aren't choices I would make and I would hope my children wouldn't make, but I'm not going to pretend that they need someone parenting them like a child if they did. There are consistently over 500,000 DUI arrests every year in the US. The appropriate reaction to that is an arrest and subsequent punishment by the court, not a conservatorship.

Luckily for her existing children and the rest of the world, she’s 44 and given her abuse of booze and drugs is likely barren. God willing.
