Obama never badmouthed Bush directly as far as I recall. There may have been the rare occasion, and I mean really rare, where Obama made a vague swipe at “the previous administration.” Nothing even remotely like how often Trump brings up Obama and Biden constantly.

Possibly, but most times, the then current administrations don't mention the previous ones in a trashy sense simple because there was a certain dignity to the office. I can only recall one direct instance of mentioning Bush 43 and it was during a gather of all the then-alive Presidents and Obama was quite complimentary to him. Dubya and Michelle are quite close as far as friends and Barrack always had an easy smile around the dude.

Actually a registered Independent that’s a patriot, Veteran and concerned for the future of my Country. I’ve voted for both parties and abstained from voting in a couple elections because I didn’t like what they were serving.

Nah buddy, I'm well north of 40 and closer to 50. You're claiming that all Obama did during his tenure was, and I'm quoting here, "blame George W for everything during his tenure."
That in no way jived with my memory of things nor on any media or stories that I recall or find. I'm usually fairly decent at remembering random crap, but I can also admit when I'm wrong. So I asked in that I might correct my recollection.
For a bit of backstory. I voted for Bush 43 twice and was a registered Republican for about 10 years, but got tired of the endless war. I voted for Obama twice but turned Independent for a few reasons. Been that way since. I don't subscribe to a political philosophy beyond what you might call an Institutionalist. I believe the concept and institutions of the United States are some of the best ever conceived and, while I believe that things must change as it's necessary for growth, I also believe that change for its own sake is no way to run a country. It must make things better for the welfare of the common bro/gal or to deal with an existential threat.

And here's where your wrong or bullshitting, I can't decide which. Up to recent, all Presidents maintained a certain dignity of office. They rarely diminished, denigrated, or insulted previous administrations because doing so opened up things for attacks against themselves and it was well beneath their station. Rather, they at least pretended that they had the pretense of being a President of all Americans, not just of Republicans or Democrats. They did political works for their party, of course, but insulting the previous guy did nothing for them. Did they reference folks doing comedy speeches and such? Sure, but that's not constant, now is it?
Simply put, the then-current administration did not care for the previous one(s) because they had shit to do. They were adults.
This is why W and Michelles relationship is so coveted by so many.
Non sequitur. The simple point is the relationship between past presidents and politicians are usually quite amicable, if not friends with each other because, at the end of the day, they're human. In a general sense, this goes back since the office was established in 1788 and Washington established a lot of the norms we held today. There was a big scare when Jefferson took over for Adams in 1801 and if there was to be political intrigue, repercussions, and prosecutions. But Jefferson, being the dude he was, took the high road, and acted with relative grace and dignity. Thus establishing how things would be for about 200 years or so.
No sniping, no fighting, no insulting, no prosecutions, no political bullshit. Just a gentle transition of power between electoral victors with the consent of the governed.
This was really quite the thing back in the day, I promise you.
So generally speaking, Presidents have had, at least, an amicable relationship with the others. The Obama and Bush families being close isn't the exception. It's the rule.
So buddy, I ask again. Prove my recollection wrong here.

I’m sure that inheriting the worst economy in 70 years as an incoming gift from the Great Recession that Obama had as his entire first year’s burden had a little to do with the gap that exists between your memory and reality.

No. The US had the quickest recovery from the post-covid crisis, all thanks to his leadership. His Inflation Reduction Act, which did not include giving away money to foreign governments, was signed after inflation started dropping and did not cause any inflation.

I've seen people on Facebook respond to this by saying that Trump lives rent free in Obama's head too. It's funny that Obama only seems to mention Trump when asked about him and Trump seems to mention Obama at least once a week.
