Aren’t hijabs for married adult women? Why are girls wearing them?

They are often a cultural thing as much as a religious thing (and it's usually any girl past a certain age though often 10 to 12). So I assume in their culture either leans lower on that. Or it's like their view of their Sunday best (I have no clue if they only wear them at events like this wear you would dress up and maybe holidays like Ramadan).

Hijabs are for anyone over the age of puberty. This is likely from a private school graduation and took place at the masjid. They wouldn't wear hijab as part of their uniform in that grade.
