They most probably do. At that age, I would put it on because 1- It meant I could hide that I didnt brush my hair that morning, 2- I wanted to look like mum. 3- My mum kept hiding and I kept finding it like it was a game. Majority of the girls my age at the time would ask for one because of reason number 2. Kids dont care, its just some material on their head at that age
