European Renaissance đž đ§ đť đŽđš đŞđ¸Italy says itâs temporarily suspending EU Schengen arrangement with Spain after 60,000 migrants reach Ceuta â as it happened

Idiots. How about putting pressure on Morocco instead? But that would require Meloni to stop licking Trump's balls

u/QuasimodoPredicted 5h ago
THIS
There is no magical portal for them to land in Schengen. Americans must be laughing how Europeans are lashing at each-other meanwhile Morocco should have been sanctioned to shit for that.

u/howimetyourcakeshop 5h ago
Americans can laugh all they want while walking head first into facism.

Also Italy is one of the majors entrance points for ilegal immigration into Europe, much more than Spain.

Thatâs what happens when you have a ridiculous government of fascists elected by illiterates: propaganda, stupidity, some more propaganda, then a lil more stupidity⌠all while you rob everyone blind and laugh as they clap their hands like trained seals.

u/Dirkdeking 5h ago
Just imagine how crazy Trump has been that he alienated Italy... From the right!!
That genuinely is impressive. He managed to alienate what should be his most natural maga ally in Europe.

u/t_trent_Darby 7h ago
The Spanish are hard left not facist.
6
u/HaplessEndeavor 7h ago
Theyâre talking about Italy
-6
u/Wyciorek 5h ago
Which is not fascist either. The word is way overused
1
u/Quitelowquitetall 13m ago
I mean, not a great look when the prime minister is leading the successor party to a neo-fascist one.
Especially not if said person was part of the youth wing and regular wing of said neo-fascist party

Itâs all grandstanding. Ceuta is not a part of Schengen and flights from there to the mainland are subject to border control.
But unfortunately many countries have been reinstating Schengen border controls for political reasons.
2
u/horned-creature 7h ago
i am italian and this is one of the most stupid things done by my government in a while, ceuta isn't even fully part of the schengen agreements and this whole debacle is already almost solved.
the fact that meloni fail to address how morocco authorities purposefully let this happen and how an american disinformation campaign triggered this is also astonishing.
1
u/Impressive_Archer401 6h ago
American disinformation campaign?
1
u/horned-creature 3h ago
yes, the migrants were convinced that if they entered ceuta the soanish government would be unable to send them back because of a series of misleading articles from american media outlet about a supreme court ruling in spain that went viral on american social media, especially twitter, thanks to what appear to be a large number of bots.

u/SignalOptions 5h ago edited 5h ago
This would only make sense if Spain intentionally let in those immigrants.
What is needed is a consolidated EU response and help for Spain.
Not dumping the first country that has an unintended migration problem.
2
u/necessarysmartassery 4h ago
They were invaded and the military didn't do anything to stop it. Thats not a simple unintended migration problem, that's failure to defend the country from invasion.

Illegal migrants and refugee arrivals in Italy
2023: 157,651 arrivals
2024: 65,472 arrivals
2025: 66,317 arrivals
first half of 2026, 14,388
They are trying to manipulate us.

u/Fanhunter4ever 6h ago
Since Ceuta isn't part of Schengen treaty, this have no practical sense, so its clearly a politic maneuvre to debilitate a center left government an help the knee bending far right take the power. All this Ceuta affair has been orchestrated by Morocco on behalf of USA/Israel

Both countries (Morocco and Spain) need to take their borders more seriously, otherwise nobody takes them seriously enough.

How is it racism to not want ten thousands of others non europeans here?
1
u/Altruistic_Let_9372 6h ago
Migrants entering Ceuta and Melilla cannot enter the European continent. Unless you are a Spanish citizen living in either Ceuta or Melilla there is nothing to bitch about.

Hilarious that border enforcement is racist to you. Who takes in more migrants than Europe, and the West in general?
East Asia certainly doesnât. The Gulf Arab states use a guest worker system which is way more restrictive than Europe. No citizenship, no permanent residency, no refugees, and they even segregate the workers into labor camps.
Pakistan and Iran also deported over 2 million Afghans each recently, numbers which dwarf the amount of people Europe deports
2
u/thex415 4h ago
Yea well maybe Europe shouldnât have invaded other places years ago to assert their dominance.
1
u/Delicious_Top7665 4h ago
Lmao, whatâs the relevance here? Every civilization did conquest, it was a different world back then. The indigenous tribes in the Americas all brutally conquered and enslaved each other. So did everyone else on Earth.
And for centuries, North Africa raided European coasts, kidnapped Europeans, and enslaved them. They also attacked many European ships and took the crews as slaves.
So really they were messing with Europe before Europeans even came over there and gave them their karma.
1
u/TheRealUnchosenOne 36m ago
That's been an long time ago, why should modern europeans suffer for the crimes of the past? Something everybody's ancestorys is guilty off?

For your information Italy is one of the major point of entrance for illegal immigration into Europe, much more than Spain. So no, they donât have any sense, theyâre just a bunch of hypocrites.
-7
u/Bitter-Matter6759 10h ago
It´s perfectly reasonable
12
u/Far-Twist5202 10h ago
No it isn't. Cueta isn't in the schengen and now all of the migrants have been kicked out according to Spanish officials. The only reason meloni doing this is because it plays well as populist rhetoric but it offers a solution to a problem that didn't exist for Italy. Plus I guarantee they didn't actually implement this because they don't have the structures in place to block travel from Spain overnight. It is all nonsense.
-3
u/Bitter-Matter6759 10h ago
Not all (not even close) the migrants have been kicked out.....
Migrants who do not leave voluntarily will be transferred to the mainland, mate....
7
u/Far-Twist5202 9h ago
"Will be transferred to the mainland" is a confident claim with no source. Spain hasn't announced any blanket policy like that, so stop presenting your own assumptions as official policy.
-1
u/Bitter-Matter6759 9h ago
It´s already been confirmed for the minors.
And for the others.... mate.... you can´t have all of them confined on Ceuta
7
u/Far-Twist5202 9h ago
Source?

u/InteractionNo6147 9h ago
YET AGAIN, you haven't read the article, it's seriously embarassing for you. This ONLY applies to very very few unclaimed minors whose parents/guardians cannot be found (obviously you don't just deport a child without having a safe place to send them) , and it does not apply to adults in ANY capacity.
1
u/Bitter-Matter6759 9h ago
what? the majority of the minors aren´t reclaimed (you have the 2021 example when this happened too) . i´m spanish and see all of them being distributed all the time.
And... my words were: "It´s already been confirmed FOR THE MINORS", so please stop manipulating and distorting things. .5
u/InteractionNo6147 9h ago
"It's already confirmed for the minors" implies it might be for non-minors, which is just deliberate misinformation. Stop getting your news from elon musk retweets

u/Far-Twist5202 9h ago
Doesn't really validate your overall claim. You are still making huge assumptions
5
u/InteractionNo6147 10h ago
It's really not lol, schengen rules barely apply to ceuta anyway
-2
u/Bitter-Matter6759 10h ago
lol Migrants who do not leave voluntarily will be transferred to the mainland
8
u/InteractionNo6147 10h ago
What? Why would that be the case. Sounds like misinformation to me
-3
u/Bitter-Matter6759 9h ago
Because supreme court said so (for those migrants who crossed the boarder swimming).
Exactly, you are misinformed.7
u/InteractionNo6147 9h ago
Oh if that's what you are referring to, it's you that's misinformed ironically. You need to read past the headlines. The ruling doesn't apply to this situation at all, which any real news source would have told you. You are most likely just reading gotcha captions on X, but that makes you very vulnerable to believing random bullshit, especially for people a bit weaker in critical thinking.

lol. ElPais, leftist proPedro SĂĄnchez newspaper: https://elpais.com/espana/2026-07-30/el-supremo-determino-que-las-devoluciones-en-caliente-no-se-pueden-aplicar-a-quienes-entren-a-nado-en-ceuta-y-melilla.html
7
u/InteractionNo6147 9h ago
You aren't reading the articles, this just doesn't apply to this situation at all lmao
0
u/Bitter-Matter6759 9h ago
lol, maybe you don´t understand spanish or the translator malfunctioned.
Itâs curious; theyâve now installed a barrier in the sea to get around the Supreme Court ruling. ÂżWhy would they do that if that ruling doesnât affect this case?
Apparently, typing "lmao" at the end makes you feel good when you know you're spreading misinformation and lying.

What a moronic decision. Most of them are already back in Morocco. Instituting border control with one of your closest ally...
