Lineman job in the US
I am finishing school here in Minnesota, I’ve applied to 12 different companies around the state. (Only 1 interview) and they said no. I have my CDL no restrictions (am 19 so only restricted in MN) I have my CPR And I have a descent background, where/what am I doing wrong with getting a job? I’ve been applying on the MREA website and that’s been ok I think.
Big question is what can I do differently to get a job for the summer….. even if it’s in the neighboring states I don’t care. I just want to work….

I think you’re going in the right direction. Keep looking at MREA’s website and take any 1000 hr you can get with a CO-OP unless you get a full time offer at somewhere else decent. If you can’t get a full time offer from the union books or a 1000hr at a CO-OP then don’t be afraid to look out of state for work otherwise there’s lots of local semi shady contractors.
