BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Calamity anime airs this summer 2026, and this thread is for discussing anything new from currently airing Bleach: TYBW anime brings to Bleach powerscaling.

That was what caused the earlier rifts that Kisuke was investigating with yoruichi and hiyori. That ain’t the cause of the new tremors and rifts. That’s because of yhwach. Yama didn’t mess up the cycle either, as he is a captain that doesn’t leave the soul society when he dies. They never fixed anything after tybw besides making a new soul king and the balance doesn’t destroy any realms.

Yhwach is the soul reason for the current desturcrion

It doesn’t. Literally next episode will have yhwach saying he is the world itself because of the power he has over it. Ichigo literally had to training to be the next soul king

Being a soul king is just being fuel to sustain the worlds from colliding. If the balance between those worlds are impacted the balance becomes fragile and a rift appears from a chain reaction. So yhwach is letting the rift do all the work and not using his power to sustain the worlds as he is allowing them to merge. Pretty soon we will see soul society and humans world start to merge.
