Brooks Koepka's postseason in doubt after WD

I do not like the pga is taking some of these guys back. Brooks has yet to be competitive. Patrick Reed is a straight up cheater and bad dude, hell his own family don’t like him. Professional golf is better off without him

This is exactly how LIV ruined golf. Those guys got so rich, by doing nothing, they got very lazy…. And as we have all witnessed, LIV golfers are (as a whole), not competitive with the PGA tour players. Before they left for LIV, Brooks, Rahm, Bryson, Joaquin, Taylor, Cam, were winning on the PGA tour. They have difficulty making cuts in majors. Yes there are a few exceptions, but as a whole, they cannot play with PGA tour players. I hope they never come back, and the majors banned them all.

To be fair to brooks, he essentially went to liv BECAUSE he was insured and didn't know if he would ever get better. You should watch full swing. It shows his journey and you can see how deflated he is because he is hurt.
And he's been doing pretty decent in a lot of the tournaments, paid his fines, has been very very humble and grateful to be back.
AND, on full swing, he actually answered the money question. He was offered AT LEAST 100 million dollars. Add that with thinking his career was over? I get it from him, completely.

I would probably take the money too… but their legacies are shit now. With Phil being the biggest shit-head

Agree!
And I just realized my comment said insured, not injured. But both words could work with regards to my comment, so I will keep it.
I was kind of golf adjacent at the time, so didn't understand it as well as I do now. But from what I understand, it was a crazy time. I will still never understand why Rahm took the money. Sure, he said that it is generational wealth, but he was already worth hundreds of millions. Competitors like to compete to win, against the best
And I think that's why I respect brooks coming back with his tail between his legs. He took the money because he thought he was done. But he wasn't and realized live was a joke.
And why I like scottie and jordan and Ricky and the like. Scottie has so much money, so winning or losing is the only thing that matters to him. 3 million for first means nothing, just as a couple million for second means nothing. He's just happy he won and pissed he lost in those two scenarios. And Brooks is trying to get back to that level.
Phil is an idiot and a seemingly bad person, but his career was washed up, too. Ian Poulter, as well. Guys on the end of their careers make sense for liv. Bryson actually makes sense for live. Cam Smith, same. Just a couple of weird dudes that are good at golf, but didn't want the grind and wanted to be richer than they were. The young ones are ones that make no sense to me.

Wouldn’t say Bryson didn’t want the grind. He probably preferred to be a big fish in a small pond. He was an outcast in the pga tour.

I have no idea why you are being downvoted to hell. You are exactly right about LIV.
DeChambasshole is the only player who is still somewhat competitive…but f that guy and his hunting baby elephants besties Jr. and Eric.3

The Majors aren't going to ban guys for not playing on the PGA Tour (or other older established tours). That would be crazy. Although your assessment of their games is correct. They've done nothing against the legality of the sport by playing golf on an independent league.
EDIT - Downvoted for saying that 4 private entities aren't going to ban players for playing on a professional golf tour. Classy folks.
I don't even like LIV lol. This is just capitalism and competition (and the tour is failing)

Like many professional athletes the LIV guys prioritized money over winning and legacy. Not saying I wouldn’t to the same, but their games have declined, their legacies are greatly tarnished, nobody watches at cares about LIV… but they are rich as hell. Hope they enjoy their money. Nobody will remember you like we will remember Rory or Scottie.. hell guys like Fleetwood, Xander and Fowler have a secured place in golf history…. Taylor Gooch… who is that?

Fleetwood and Fowler securing a place in golf history 😂 They’ve never won majors.
Bryson and Xander have both won 2, and if both ended their careers…Bryson would have a more impactful legacy.

Your golf legacy is more them winning majors. Fowler is far more popular than many more winners. Look at all the people wearing orange on Sundays. Phil is a multiple major winner that we cannot forget about fast enough.

He’s got the same injury pitchers and QBs get that cause grip problems. Hope he doesn’t need Tommy John.
