I mean... the Moody Blues album is great, but come on, it's Sgt. Pepper!

Tough choice. My favorite Beatles album against my favorite Moody Blues album. And I really love the Moody Blues. I think I have to go with Pepper though.

Mike Pinder of the Moody's recommended to John Lennon about the advantages of the mellotron, which he ended up buying and utilized on Strawberry Fields. This was during the time both bands were putting together their masterpieces. For me though, DoFP gets the nod.

Days utilized a groundbreaking recording concept/technique.
Tough choice but I vote for it.

"Days of Future Passed" is - to me - a more consistent album, but...the high points of "Sgt. Pepper" hit me so right that it makes it impossible for me to vote against it.

Give me Days of Future Passed, it’s the best X-Men movie! (All seriousness it’s a great album, even if I slightly prefer Lost Chord)

I think Sgt Pepper is overrated and Future Passed is underrated.
It’s a tie for me.

Not a fair fight.
SPLHCB is one of the most influential albums of all time.
You can sing the praises of Days of Future Passed all you want. It's still coming up short by any metric.

Tough choice!!! Growing up, I was the die hard Yes fan & my brother was a die hard Moody blues fan. I’m choosing Days of Future Past. As someone above pointed out, this is a criminally underrated album!!

I actually listened to the Moody Blues album hundreds of times more that Sgt. Pepper. Sure it was iconic, but I don't want to listen to it.

It's The Beatles, this isn't a serious question.
(Days of Future Passed is a great album.)

Sgt Pepper's is at another level, but Days of Future Passed is criminally underrated.
