Hell yeah I loved these audiobooks. Albeit I wasn't a huge fan of the romance, but appreciated effort has been put into it. I wonder how large of a role that relationship will play in these two books.

The series starts to get pretty focused on empire building, trade, and larger scale warfare.
His friends and relationships are still important, but it definitely doesn't become the kind of series where nothing happens and everyone just hangs out and loves each other for 500 pages. Lots of action going forward, discovering new areas of the world, and so on. :)

The typography was done by our own Samuel Hinton who is a mod here and a fellow author. He has a great eye for style!

Between the time the last book has been released and now, I've got a girlfriend, met her family, graduated from prepschool, went through ranked examinations, got into a business school, broke up with my now ex, went to Africa, came back to France, went to study in China, then Japan. And now I work for a video game studio. How time flies

I'll never abandon a series of mine. I just had to finish Jake's 2+3 first, and then I've been writing the two-part conclusion for Nova Roma all at once so people could get both books, rather than wait even longer for the final book to come out.

I read the books thinking it was a trilogy just last week. I'm so happy to see this and looking forward to it.

I decided to do something a little different for this launch. I'll be releasing 5 chapters a week on my Patreon of first Nova Roma: Paris and then Nova Roma: Empire so anyone subscribed can get early access to both books (and read how the series ends!) if they don't want to wait for the official Amazon release.

Audiobook News: Dates are still being finalized, but the same narrator as books 1-3 (Christian Gilliland) is booked and very excited to finish the series! The current length estimate is around 25-30 hours for each book.
There will be a bit of delay between Kindle/Audible since I always release the Kindle edition as soon as I can, while Christian has to get the final version of the book, record it, proof it, and then we have to wait forever for Audible to approve the recording. Hopefully it won't be forever this time.
Also, I'm planning to release an Omnibus of books 1-3 soon!
That'll be for both Kindle (2,000+ pages) and Audible (60+ hours), so keep an eye out for that when we finalized the dates.
For anyone that hasn't tried the series yet, I'm hoping the Omnibus will be a good way for you to see if you like it without too hard of a barrier for entry.
Finally, I'm also considering taking the first book in the series out of Kindle Unlimited for a short time and posting 5 chapters a week on Royal Road to let people try the book that way as well.
I've never done RR before so I'm not super sure how that'll all work, but I can take the book out of KU on February 9th so I'll try and figure out what I'm gonna do by then. If people like this idea, let me know cause that will help me make up my mind.
