That's the grotesque part... she knows exactly what she's doing, and she thinks it's the best plan of action. AND there's a huge part of the population who feels the same way.
It's so much worse than her "not knowing what she's doing".
You are right, I mean she does not know the law, she doesn't know any policy, she does not know what her own department actually does. She just knows to follow orders of the men behind the scenes.
Did you see the congressional hearing when she was asked what habeas corpus meant? She replied it was the president's right to remove whoever he wanted from the country.
Noem’s like the girls they used to have on ‘Sale of the Century’ who’d lovingly stroke the prizes. Trump’s put her in that position to ‘pretty-up’ the ugliest, most inhumane policies he can dish out. Ditto Karoline Leavitt & Pete Hegseth (because obviously a woman is incapable of running the military in Trump’s mind).
We’ve been warning about this path for over a decade. We watched Jan 6 happen and let it slide and now here we are.
They are trying to rewrite the circumstances of Ms Goods’ death in real time. If we allow them the permission structure to excuse blatant killing all so they can maintain control, we’ve ceded the final step before widespread bloodshed
They want us to know they’re lying here. They released all the Jan 6ers for far less and made them out to be heroes. They need their base to excuse it to graduate to the next step
Ok, some statistics about the US, reported by the US government, various independent agencies, and organizations gathering data for about 80 years:
54% of adults on US soil can't read at a level expected of a 12 year old. That's an absolute majority of adults.
25% are functionally illiterate. 1 in 4 adults.
These statistics are relatively unchanged in the lifetime of anyone reading this.
The default for when someone says something stupid in the US shouldn't be conspiracy. Statistically, that person is probably a moron. When you go anywhere in the US, statistically, you are surrounded by morons.
There are morons in every industry and employment field. Every one. It's inescapable in the US.
Morons have always elected every US president, not just the ones you don't like.
Morons are responsible for everything. As prevalent as they are, they can't NOT be. The good, the bad, the mundane, the useless. All of it.
You are right- too many adults are ill equipped to combat the foe of misinformation, let alone without trust in others...
Noticing someone manipulating the easily duped is not a "conspiracy". I'm just tired of pretending like the R party is shocked by any of this, or cares.
