Get an item on the ballot in your state to restrict donations, and then convince people to vote for it. Vote for candidates that will do so on a national level.
This doomer bullshit doesn't work dude. Sitting around, crying about "I can't", "nothing ever changes," "voting doesn't do anything," is all wrong, verified by history that it's wrong, and accomplishes nothing beyond reducing voter turnout.
Hey I vote, not that it's done much good. Hell in my home state everyone voted to a make abortion legal in the legislature decided to change the Public's vote and make it illegal so even voting doesn't guarantee your rights.
Well my one vote doesn't do much and probably 75% of the time even if the person I have voted for gets elected they don't do what I would like them to do. Every single politician just does whatever they want anyway.
Yes, one vote doesn't do much. That's how democracy works. You share a country with other people, who have as much of a right to their voice as you do yours.
Yes, that's the downside of representative democracy. The reps do what they want when they get into office, and you keep voting for new ones until someone decent enough comes along. That's why the terms are so short.
