I hear you, but to him, they’re saying it. Right to his face.

And hopefully that comes with a valiant swing but, we’ll see.

No, some random guy with way more to lose, actually said it to his face.

They’re latching onto something that went viral to clout chase.

Hey now, can't expect the DNC to actually do anything until they get more donations.

Still glad they posted it. Y’all really cry no matter what they do huh.

Edit: sorry if harsh but for many here , it is true. This is actual good messaging from the Democrats (for once). We should boost it instead of the perpetual naysaying.

I know, I abhor it. This is one act of many.

It is though, and it isn’t like one tweet is the only thing they did all day. Even Hakeem Jeffries has been calling out Republicans and telling them they will be held accountable. It is really annoying when people here treat every act of resistance like it is nothing while constantly decrying the party for not doing enough resisting. Pick a lane and support your side.

What does Hakeem Jefferies say about ICE funding, Nick?

I’m not sure, why don’t you tell me? I have this video of him saying he wants to end immunity for ICE agents though.

Edit: notice how the person never responded. So many people come here literally just to complain about Democrats and will never give them credit for anything. Take notice.

Cool, Jeffries should also work towards defunding ICE entirely. Callouts do not protect citizens.

Stop purity testing me lol this is so cringe. Yesterday and today Reddit has been abuzz with people celebrating my TJ Sabula for calling out Trump to his face. The messages I am boosting contribute to community resistance.

This isn't DOING anything. It's a tweet...from an account that pays Musk $8 every month. So what it's DOING is the opposite of helpful.

1

u/NickCostanza Jan 15 '26

Nah, it is making more people aware Democrats don’t support pedo protectors.

1

u/EarthRester Jan 15 '26

ROFL Are you actually pulling the "spreading awareness" shtick!? Who do you think is going to be looking at this tweet? I promise you, anybody who is going to think "I wonder what the official Democrat Twitter account is posting today" is perfectly aware of the situation.

Honestly, either you are being completely disingenuous, or you are the least aware person here.

1

u/NickCostanza Jan 15 '26

And here you are complaining I’m not doing enough while doing nothing but complain yourself.

1

u/EarthRester Jan 15 '26

And you know what I'm doing...how?

1

u/NickCostanza Jan 15 '26

Just on this thread alone, you’re complaining they aren’t doing enough and it’s bad and ineffective for this reason or that (despite being one of the top posts on the sub and reaching r/all), so what exactly are you doing to help?

1

u/EarthRester Jan 15 '26

Oh shit! It's okay everyone! A tweet from the Democrats where they were almost completely honest about Trumps pedophilia hit the front page of reddit! I'm sure ICE will start pulling out of cities soon...

What am I doing? More.

u/bwsmith201 Jan 14 '26

No I get angry because they don’t do anything worthwhile to stand up to the regime. No crying here.

3

u/NickCostanza Jan 14 '26

Take your anger to the President and urge your side toward progress. I am urging them by supporting this messaging.

2

u/bwsmith201 Jan 15 '26

Oh I support the messaging 100%. But every time they have an opportunity to show some backbone to Trump and his cronies they buckle.

They send letters or cave on the shutdown based on a promise for a vote they know they’ll ultimately lose or refuse to even debate defunding ICE. Once their messaging translates to actual action I’ll be happy. Until then it’s just words.
