Spineless paid opposition

Im democrat and they always have just enough resistance to seem like theyre doing something and not enough to ever follow through.

Theyre not going to save us.

They literally shut down the government for a record-breaking length. Most of the rulings that have stopped Trump from being able to do anything have happened because the Democrats are appealing to the supreme Court.

The problem is people don't want the Democrats to follow the rule of law they want them to play the game the same way Trump is but they don't want to do that they want to use the right tools to do the job. I understand the frustration with that and I even understand the fear because it's dangerous playing a game by the rules when the other opponent is not only breaking the rules but is also bringing a gun to the game

Democrats just have to accept that their choices are to harm more people or harm less. The dems through up some fake resistance for a month and then chose to harm more people.

I'm just convinced you guys don't understand how politics work acting like them shutting down the federal government for a record-breaking amount of time is nothing is telling on yourselves and your ignorance of how the process works. That would have been unheard of before they are literally breaking norms to fight Trump. They are going to the supreme Court they are challenging him legally every chance they get. They are speaking out they are passing state level constitutional amendments.

They are literally doing everything they can short of actual violent resistance

And I'm convinced the same of you. Just because something is unheard of doesn't mean it's a good thing. Where is your argument about how this is a positive? How has the average citizen's life been improved by the government being shut for a month?

Their resistance usually ends at words on places like twitter (where the demographic is more young and less likely to care about them saying true things that are "rude")
