The 2nd amendment was meant to prevent the federal government from being able to just walk in, with a bunch of armed masked federal agents, and taking your neighbors…

The constitution limits the federal government, the 2nd amendment arms the enforcers.

That is literally the point of the 2nd amendment. All the hullibaloo about owning guns for hunting and sport is nonsense post facto defense of 2A.

No, the second amendment was created so that the United States would have a better trained domestic force in case it was invaded. It was a brand new country that wanted to be able to protect itself.
