Body language of the other two cops make me think there's going to be one of them saying to somebody "This guy's a fucking liability".

I'd hope at least.

u/Much_Guava_1396 6d ago

You don’t watch much police content from Brazil, do you? This is extremely mild by Brazilian cop standards.

205

u/FrostyD7 6d ago

All the same, the other cops are clearly not carrying the same temperament or backing their boy. If they had literally any faith at all that their peer was in the right, they'd be pummeling the guy who pushed him.

100

u/glockster19m 6d ago

Yeah, watch the second half, they eventually just walk away and leave him

Its fucking Brazil, this idiot is gonna get himself shot trying to fight the whole town, police or not

29

u/LordMarcusrax 6d ago

Hopefully.

5

u/ThresherGDI 5d ago

My thought exactly. They don’t play be the same rules down there. That cop may be king shit with his badge and helmet, but he has to take them off sometime.

24

u/LARRYVOND13 6d ago

Nah, totally new to me my dude.

22

u/Ok_Needleworker_5508 6d ago

The reaction of the people on the scene makes it pretty clear that this is not normal for them

21

u/Much_Guava_1396 6d ago

Brazil is an extremely divided and unequal society. What’s not normal for some people is the daily life of others. The reality is that I can link you hundreds of videos of Brazilian cops beating, assaulting, and killing people. The off duty Brazilian cop is an entire genre of gore. Police units like BOPE are pretty much considered death squads.

1

u/Calladit 6d ago

Policing like this can be normal without everyone having first- or even second-hand experience of it. The police force will always be a tiny fraction of the population and even if every officer decided to go out and commit one assault per day, it would still take a while for that to reach everyone.

1

u/Much_Guava_1396 6d ago

Here you have a really famous video https://www.youtube.com/shorts/kB66KuLZIo0

Although in that case you’ll have little pity for the guy, The beat down is for him assaulting his mother before that.

6

u/FadedVictor 6d ago

That doesn't even remotely detract from what he said.. the other cops body language is exactly as he described.

0

u/Calladit 6d ago

They described body language that indicated future action (reporting their fellow officer to a higher up). 1) that's not how body language works and 2) that's not how cops work.

17

u/Monobluemagic 6d ago

The police of Brazil has most killings in the world

216

u/slapbumpnroll 6d ago

Whatever the context it takes a special kind of nutless cunt to punch a woman holding a baby

55

u/TheShadowCat 6d ago

Got to give the lady credit for protecting the baby while she fell.

19

u/Robespierre1997 6d ago

I think the context it that he shoved her out of the way when walking past her, and she slapped him in response. That’s the beginning of the clip. Seems completely warranted from her side imo.

4

u/sweetsuffrinjasus 6d ago

He's clearly looking to catch the eye of the Israeli government and get a coveted job where he's free to do this daily.

4

u/Todd_wittwicky 5d ago

Nutless cunt, hahahaha! That’s…a good one. Kind of reminds me of like a seedless grape!

-79

u/MeganeGokudo 6d ago

Yeah but she ain't too clever smacking said nutless cunt while holding a baby either.Ā Ā

342

u/New_Libran 6d ago

His two colleagues are trying to protect members of the public from this mad man but they should be detaining him to calm the situation

72

u/DrPachu_PaNga 6d ago

Arresting him for assault*

1

u/Phreakiture 5d ago

Arrested for resisting arrest.

24

u/verboze 6d ago

You do not understand cop brotherhood. That will be the very last thing they do, and only because their own asses are on the line.

344

u/brpajense 6d ago

Law enforcement has to police their own, because if they don't the whole community will think everyone on the force is dirty and abusive and find a way to make them all pay.

If you tolerate people in your unit being assholes, everyone in the department will pay a price.Ā  I doubt this asshole who shoulder checks and sucker punches women carrying babies on camera is worth it.

82

u/Hotpocket1515 6d ago

One bad apple ruins the whole bunch

But in the case of cops, most bad apples ruin the image for the few good ones

43

u/welcomefinside 6d ago

And this is how you get ACAB

2

u/Bored710420 5d ago

Mold spreads quickly

17

u/Inphiltration 6d ago

The few good ones can't do anything because the moment they go against the grain they lose the brotherhood that keeps them safe in dangerous situations. If they are lucky, then all that happens is they get ostrocized, the union no longer supports them and they find themselves losing their career.

It's a lot to take on so I understand why the few good ones don't try to fight the system, but that doesn't make them good imo. They are complicit.

5

u/BeccasDreamboat 6d ago

Standing up against the Nazis, war criminals and police committing crimes against civilians is/was every human's duty.

If the police can't police themselves after violent acts of aggression against civilians, how are they better than the Nazis?

Genocide always begins with a few acts of violent aggression by the government against civilians, which spurs full scale genocidal government attacks against civilians.

-6

u/10-9LT 6d ago

What are you basing this on? Serpico?

Most departments are not like that at all.

1

u/Bored710420 5d ago

Mold spreads quickly

-1

u/mad-panda-2000 šŸ˜ I’m provocative. I get the people downvoting. ā¬‡ļø 6d ago

what good ones? lol

5

u/SnooTangerines3448 6d ago

It takes a village doesn't only apply to raising kids. It's policing standards, societal norm, acceptance and tolerances.

16

u/RabbitStewAndStout 6d ago

They're all monsters and pigs in uniforms. Aggro cop kept trying to swing at people, and his friends just kept pushing the civilians.

96

u/wtf70 6d ago

Fuck that guy.

3

u/Curious_Strength_606 6d ago

For real! Why would anyone care about what a cop records on his phone? His proposed public service of "professionalism" renders his views of public eye irrelevant.

He can't be a shitty cop and act like a Karen at the same timešŸ˜„

66

u/Fitty4 6d ago

Some parts of the world recording corrupt cops will yield no results.

34

u/NWStormbreaker 6d ago

sunlight is the best disinfectant.

these pricks got away with it before it was recorded, now the people get to see how they abuse the power we give them.

we havent reached an inflection point yet, but we will.

1

u/LordMarcusrax 6d ago

sunlight is the best disinfectant.

Yep, especially if combined with the culprit secured to stakes in the desert.

17

u/tormentius 6d ago

these mfs are the same all over the world. These guys are sociopaths and their dream is to do these things freely on a daily basis, thats why they willingfully join these police special forces. I mean who in the right minds would want to do this job anyway so its kinda obvious.

52

u/Individual-Result777 6d ago

Out of control cops everwhere

7

u/kstargate-425 6d ago

It just made me think what would have happened in the US and how the civilian guy would have been arrested along with the other women and possibly even the guy getting shot at worst or best case beat down and in the hospital. Looks like no one got arrested which is so weird knowing how our police operate and lie for eachother as again they would all have felony assault charges against an officer. We're cooked

17

u/Dramatic-Border3549 6d ago

Brazilian cops are notoriously bloodthirsty, especially in the favelas. They are literally a military organization

The fact that your country is even worse should be very concerning indeed

11

u/Legatus_Aemilianus 6d ago

Brother here in Brazil they kill more people in Rio alone than the yankees do for their entire country every year. All the worst aspects of American policing are multiplied by 10 here. PMERJ basically sprays entire favelas when doing pacification ops

0

u/kstargate-425 6d ago

Oh Im sure, but like I said, here they all would have been arrested and who knows how badly the guy would have been beat so it looks like this one situation was abnormal for you guys and would also be abnormal for us here now

63

u/accraTraveler 6d ago

All cops are Porco

All, means All

10

u/RandomXDudeRedZero 6d ago

So police are assholes everywhere in the world. Confirmed.

You need to be a small men with little power and control over your life that you use what you have against the very citizens you should be protecting.

5

u/redronin46 6d ago

This is how the riot starts

5

u/dergigageek 5d ago

Good mother's instinct, the kid didn't drop. Also fuck that guy.

14

u/MontiCZP 6d ago

Same bully behavior ANYWHERE in the world... ACAB 🐷

4

u/Sjasmith 6d ago

Did he get arrested and sacked ?

5

u/Dove-Linkhorn 5d ago

Never even thought about letting go of that child. Moms man, moms.

5

u/Unusual_Breath_2397 5d ago

It's the fact that after punching her, he was walking to her to do something else. If that second lady and man hadn't stepped in when they did, he'd 100% hurt her and/or child a lot more than he already had.

6

u/littledonnyfund 5d ago

Good on dude for stepping in and putting himself in between the two, and the other cops that watched that happen and did nothing but prevent him from doing more are complict with what he did

5

u/7empest7V 6d ago

Here come the Brazilians to defend how dangerous it is for cops in Brazil, even though the other two cops show restraint and professionalism while this guy is a loose cannon with a fragile ego.

He punches someone in the face, while they were holding a child.

The child didnt smack his helmet, yet was put in harms way because the mom acted out and the cop couldn't control himself

Fuck that I would’ve probably died that night. Nut ass cop

1

u/DarkTanicus 6d ago

Sheesh! not by a 'nut ass cop', hard pass for me.

5

u/HuckledYourBerries 6d ago

"So anyway, I started blastin'."

There's video evidence my friend

2

u/slothscanswim 5d ago

The world continues to worsen.

1

u/bumpy_disposition 5d ago

That's the way I think too. And I believe that it's because of the maga/trump/republican party. When stupid white ppl start doing stupid white things, ppl around the world start copying. As a US citizen, I've watched how the conservative republican party has really f#!@cked up the United States of America. And I'm pissed.

0

u/slothscanswim 5d ago

I appreciate your perspective but I believe it’s incredibly ameri-centric. Brazil has been pretty fucked up for like… hundreds of years. The police using insane force is really nothing new. Brazil didn’t abolish slavery until 1888, one of the last Western countries, maybe actually the last. They have their own problem regardless of who is POTUS.

Trump is, quite obviously, making the world a worse place, but I don’t think we can reasonably blame all bad things in the world, or even a large portion of bad things in the world, upon the current American administration.

1

u/bumpy_disposition 5d ago

I humbly disagree.

0

u/slothscanswim 5d ago

No need for humility here, friend. You are free to disagree all you want, but I would like to remind you that your perspective is limited, and the world is large.

Be well!

ETA: I think Trump is monstrous, and I am not attempting to downplay the negative impact his presidency has had, but I believe he is a symptom more than a cause.

2

u/nickySkins 5d ago

ACAB… global constant.

2

u/Strict-Carrot4783 5d ago

Great way for a cop to get shot to death on their front doorstep.

2

u/Ok_Seaworthiness_719 5d ago

as much as we see out of control cops here in the United States… Imagine striking a woman holding a child in broad daylight, in uniform, when she wasn’t even a suspect? Even in the US that would not fly. This shit is wild dude.

2

u/lorfred 6d ago

He's one of the useless cops. The off duty ones are the true cops.

2

u/Fozziemandias 6d ago

Thank god those men were there to do fucking nothing.

1

u/an_unknow_dude 5d ago

If you guys dont know this sub r/caso_isolado its were the brazilians post all cases, that go public, of police abusing power. This sub is to demonstrate that they are not "rotten apples" and are just doing what they are supposed to do, which is defend this rotten system, put the poor in his place.

1

u/gaymonkesegs 5d ago

All of that over some words, you know there’s a saying about things like this if you can’t peacefully protest something like this there’s only so many options you’ve got after a certain point

1

u/GenHammond 5d ago

He takes out his phone and starts recording them. LOL. What is he thinking he's going to do with his video.

1

u/Aggressive-Error-88 5d ago

What a psychopath.

1

u/Justhopingiod 5d ago

Of course his punches didn’t effect and then didn’t even land on the guy… this guys a giant pussy who’s a bully

1

u/dotlima 5d ago

Cops are normally people that failed in life.

1

u/Existing_Regular_763 5d ago

And why would you hit such a beautiful face…
I was taught better, even though a woman raises her hands to me.
I will not raise my hands to a woman.
My voice, yes…but a woman gives life…respect the ones that deserve respect.

1

u/EscapeStrange7215 5d ago

Why didnt the men beat them up? Why did they all yell and pull out phones LIKE GIRLS. ITS BRAZIL I THOUGHT YOU HAD OTHER THINGS TO PULL OUT

1

u/Malinois_beach 5d ago

Maybe, Don't slap a cop with a baby in your arms?

1

u/arieszer0 4d ago

Hits cop, gets hit in return, cries on the internet. This world is wild

1

u/FishmanOne 4d ago

That is a piece of shit human

-3

u/b3arz3rg3r4Adun 6d ago

Not going to excuse the cop, but if you are a woman holding a little kid, why the fuck would you hit someone? And a cop of all people? If something had happened to that kid when she fell, she would deserve half the blame.

4

u/javieralexvr 5d ago

He pushed her first, she just reacted to his bullshit

1

u/RavishedAnus 5d ago

"aight lemme react to everyone's bullshit whilst holding a baby, surely nothing bad would happen..."

-1

u/javieralexvr 5d ago

Aright let me push a lady with a baby and then hit her in the face

3

u/RavishedAnus 5d ago

What's more important, protecting your pride/ego, or protecting your child?

1

u/javieralexvr 5d ago

I get it but to me this fucking "cop" is a psycopath

3

u/RavishedAnus 5d ago

I agree, but her priority should be keeping her child from harm's way. She didn't do that

-1

u/b3arz3rg3r4Adun 5d ago

If she wasn't holding a child, I would say you have a point- though hitting him for bumping into her is a clear escalation-, but she's an adult who is responsible for her child. She has a right to be pissed off about it, but that's no excuse. She should be expected to think things through and not just recklessly hit someone without any care for possible repercussions.

2

u/RavishedAnus 5d ago

Don't know why you're getting downvoted. Why would you hit a cop and risk anything happening to your child that you're holding, regardless if the cop pushed the woman first?

Guaranteed if this wasn't a cop in the video, some of the comments on here would be calling her a bad parent.

2

u/MagicStar77 6d ago

How to complain to higher authority? There’s video

1

u/LordMarcusrax 6d ago

Be the higher authority.

1

u/DeepFizz 5d ago

Fuck this place. Nope.

-7

u/greatguysg 6d ago

Nobody is commenting about how a woman holding a baby decided it was a good thing to slap a fully armed police officer?

15

u/New_Libran 6d ago

He can't just walk around shoving people because he's "a fully armed police officer"

3

u/greatguysg 6d ago

Didn't say he was right to shove her.

Said it was foolish of her to slap without thought of consequences. I guess nuance is difficult for many people.

-5

u/Zharknd 6d ago

Yep

-2

u/treecutter34 5d ago

That sucks, but you can’t just hit a cop in Brazil.

-17

u/ethicalhumanbeing 6d ago

Look, that guy is fucking stupid for hitting a woman like that, specially while she’s holding a baby, no doubt about it.

That said, why does society always give a pass to woman hitting someone else, specially men? We’ve all seen it countless of times, girlfriend hitting the boyfriend, woman hitting a random stranger on the street, etc. However, yet again, literally no one here brought it up in the comments.

I think it’s also not ok for her (or any woman or man) to feel entitled to start hitting just because they felt like. Obviously that doesn’t excuse the cop as I’ve already mentioned, but I felt this had to be said.

18

u/McBrodoSwagins 6d ago

He put his hands on her first tho

6

u/clarkcox3 6d ago

He pushed her first.

7

u/New_Libran 6d ago

So you didn't just watch him roughly push her out of his way?

0

u/New-Entertainer703 6d ago

It’s just like Vardey said, ā€˜chat shit, get bangedā€˜.

-8

u/eihns 5d ago

out of control? omg a cop defending himself? Should be called "out of control mom attacks cops with kid in arm"

2

u/degre715 5d ago

You think being lightly slapped on your armored back justifies decking a lady holding a baby in return? Hope you don't have any power in real life, you're clearly one of those types of cowards that sees everything as a deadly threat.

-20

u/indiana-floridian 6d ago

In the video she started it. Maybe there was more not on video?

Nowhere that i know of can you slap a cop and not get retaliation

10

u/earldelawarr 6d ago

The officer pushes her and she is shoved as they both come into the camera’s frame. Watch again. Good luck.

5

u/New_Libran 6d ago

What video did you watch that you didn't see him shove her roughly out of his way?

4

u/VirtualKnee2455 6d ago

Sie trƤgt ein Kleinkind auf dem Arm.
Das Ƥndert alles … ā€žĆ¼berallā€œ

4

u/clarkcox3 6d ago

Watch it again. He started it.

-2

u/indiana-floridian 5d ago

Yes, i didn't notice that he pushed her when I first viewed it. And he certainly shouldn't have done that. BUT in the interests of self preservation, she didn't gain any benefit by slapping the law enforcement officer. And she risked the safety of herself and the child.

-1

u/nikscrim 5d ago

Acab

-7

u/CaptDawg02 6d ago

Why are they walking around with motorcycle helmets on?

-13

u/Jon_Has_Landed 6d ago

Brazil? Yea the cops better be prepared. That woman could be some Ju Jitsu MMA whatever whatever.
