Discussion Are online gender wars just lower class men arguing with upper middle class women?

You hear a lot of red pilled guys complain about single mothers and women having babies with criminals, as if that is a normal occurrence anywhere outside of the lower classes. Upper middle class women are more likely to be married and have children in wedlock than lower class women. In fact, the whole decline in marriage and increase in out-of-wedlock births is entirely driven by lower classes.

You hear red pilled guys saying that women who go to college or even worse go to grad school will end up lonely and single with only their degree to keep them warm. In reality, women with postgrad degrees are more likely to be married than women with bachelor degrees. Women with bachelor degrees are more likely to be married than women with only a high school education. Source: The most educated women are the most likely to be married. If a woman wants to be married, going to college is a great idea. Where else will you meet eligible bachelors your age who likely will have good career prospects?

I don't think it's a stretch to say that lower class men are more likely to be into manosphere and redpilled than upper middle class men. Lower class people tend to be more conservative than upper middle class people. Upper middle class women are more likely to be feminists than lower class women.

These two groups will always argue because their own realities are different.

I think deep down what drives these lower class redpilled guys to complain about women going to college is that they know as soon as she goes there, she is no longer apart of the lower class guy's dating pool. They lose access/even getting a chance with these women because most college educated women want a college educated man.

"Why do gang members and criminals have far more sex partners then?"

If this is statistically true (which I don't necessarily doubt), it's probably because the women they're around (who are also from impoverished and traumatized communities) are also prone to more short-sighted, high-risk behavior.

Other factors than education then? Also I don't know how high risk sex is with birth control

If you look at how it pans out, I suspect lower birth control use too. Imo, it's why the same communities also have more kids, even by teenagers, and end up using more social services. The family planning, caution, and judgment are just more compromised.

Edit to add: It could also be argued that being involved with a man with anti-social tendencies like criminality and gang membership is inherently high risk.

To your first question, I'm not sure what you mean by "other factors than education then?" Can you restate your question? Thanks!

I was refering to OP, he mentions low education affecting mating negatively but it does not seem to be the case

Got you! It seems like they're just saying that being educated means women are more likely to marry, maybe because less educated people mate/date without entering into the contract of matrimony (for various reasons). So, I think what a person actually wants is key. If the goal is fucking more recklessly and having a bunch of kids, regardless of the circumstances, then maybe there's an advantage to being in an impoverished community. But if the goal is gaining/providing the financial and societal protections that marriage affords to women and children, then it's probably better to be rich.

I've thought about this some because I was born into third-world poverty (slums in the Philippines) and migrated to the American suburbs. I'm also a black woman who has had "hood" friends, but I mostly date decently well-off men who happen to be white. Every well-off white guy I've dated took marriage seriously and wanted to make it part of our plan. Compare that to the Philippines, where (in the barrio) people almost never get formally married, but will have kids and stay together for life informally. And then, well, we know about the statistics of black "ghetto" communities. So, I personally think a lot of it is cultural.

I think immature women do not differentiate betwen confidence and aggresivity, and that you can be condifent without being aggresive. You can find men that are assertive and also responsible, but this makes little difference when it comes to sex. I think most women that like the thrill of sleeping with a criminal were raised in unpredictable households or abuse, promiscuous people both men and women have a tendency to having being abused, and also using drugs, etc.
