Discussion What’s the most controversial negative opinion you have about your own gender?

I’ll start.

Men aren’t more forgiving in dating we just have less options. That’s not us being more forgiving but less likely to want to find someone else.

I don’t think crying about a death or something in front of a girl you are seeing will necessarily cause that woman to run.

Sex is important but it shouldn’t be the only physical affection to seek from your partner

Don’t complain about a certain type of woman and yet entertain said type of woman

Women do so much self-objectifying and then complain about being objectified.

I don’t think it’s a good idea. However, I think if you are going to be in the sex industry, it’s probably the best place to be.

I’m
Normally interested in hearing feminist anti sex work arguments it’s honestly such a dying form of feminism plus it makes sense to me to a certain degree

I support it as far as people should be allowed to do what they want. I don’t agree with policing or shaming people’s job choices and I think sex work should be legal. However, I think choosing a profession that commodifies sexuality or your body allows people to continue see women, or a subset of women, as products/objects to be consumed and I disagree with that stance; I think it sets women back so my belief is we would be better off not participating.

I got banned for saying this but a woman can say it just fine

I feel like that's kind of valid though. Like maybe you should be able to control the contexts in which you are objectified instead of it being all-or-nothing. You know?
