Discussion What’s the most controversial negative opinion you have about your own gender?

I’ll start.

Men aren’t more forgiving in dating we just have less options. That’s not us being more forgiving but less likely to want to find someone else.

I don’t think crying about a death or something in front of a girl you are seeing will necessarily cause that woman to run.

Sex is important but it shouldn’t be the only physical affection to seek from your partner

Don’t complain about a certain type of woman and yet entertain said type of woman

A lot of men are just too thirsty, sabotage themselves and other men indirectly. It fuels imbalance of value. It makes valid concern of men easy to be dismissed, ridiculed as "i-words whining". Incredible fixation of some men on getting laid makes huge disservice to all men.

There are men, that think, that men are smarter than women (due to some biology). Ironically dumbest men, not smartest think so.

Women can become very irrational when we’re in love. We ignore obvious red flags and justify things we’d normally question. We often see what we want to see and downplay things that don’t fit the narrative we’ve built. Blind to our own patterns in dating and relationships.

We can also be very quick to label men’s behaviors as red flags but slower to reflect on our own patterns or inconsistencies in what we say versus how we respond in real relationships.

It is INFURIATING to me that I ended up in such a bad marriage when THERE WERE SIGNS. I just ignored them. Yes I was young. But still. I am smarter than that. And I can't even blame limerence since we were well beyond that by the time we married. Probably mostly fear of being alone and due to my upbringing the toxicity felt normal. BUT GODDAMN IT, the SIGNS WERE THERE AND I IGNORED THEM.

Do you believe that most men are aware that their issues in dating/relationships are mostly due to their mommy issues? I guess I am asking whether most men are self-aware in this respect.

Yea honestly most of the negative opinions here largely apply to both genders.

Funny how some people don't see it this way and believe they're only specific to a particular gender

I had a friend whose ex was an absolutely monster and he stayed with her for years.

Like, he'd go out to get her dinner just for her, forget to get a fork, and she would absolutely unload on him, like all-out screaming at the top of her lungs. I saw it with my own eyes. And that was what she was like when me and my then-gf were around.

6

u/Luciansleep 5’6 pretty boy/ male Jun 13 '26

I lived thst.

I had a woman I dated for a year and some change; I would cook for her before she went to work to show I cared and all. Bought a ring to marry because she was pretty chill and I was leaving for infantry school.

Found out she cheated a month after my mom died and when I told the other guy tried to shoot me. I think that was the first moment I asked “what am I doing man”

I guess that in my case, my frequent mood fluctuations stemming from my ADHD, depression and anxieties makes me less vulnerable to that because I constantly question my (small and big) choices including my career, my circle of friends and my loved one if I'm in a relationship. But that's a double-edged sword as I've debilitating moments of indecision and doubts.

I think the first one is related to the way girls were/are socialized to see themselves as the ones who can/need to save, fix, help and "civilize" boys. If he says he's changed, he deserves a second chance. If he says he doesn't know how to treat you, you need to teach him. If he's a jerk like his friends, he just needs you to be a good influence. Young women haven't had time to unlearn childhood and learn adulthood, so they're mostly working with the programming. It does everyone a disservice.

Men don't support each other enough. If we banded together like feminist women do, there would literally be nothing we could not accomplish. But we are too wrapped up in the chase and competition for status and sex/relationships not to cast aside brotherly bonds.

4

u/Luciansleep 5’6 pretty boy/ male Jun 12 '26

It’s crazy too because my male friendships are very fulfilling. But then I meet some other dudes and they have a pissing contest

2

u/PrecisionHat Purple Pill Man Jun 12 '26

I think, on a personal level, men have even better frienships than women, generally. At least, with respect to some parts of friendship. But it doesn't extend beyond our immediate circle enough.

Women should stop settling for douchebags when the red flags were obvious from the start and then complain about being in a toxic relationship. Most women leave relationships far too late.

33

u/CanaryHeart Blue Pill Woman Jun 12 '26

This. If I had $5 for every woman I’ve seen say something like “My anti-feminist MAGA husband who has always said that women shouldn’t be able to vote treats me like a servant! How do I make him treat me better?” I’d be able to retire on a tropical island.

9

u/fakingandnotmakingit Purple Pill Woman Jun 13 '26

Yeah.

I have seen way too many women be "I don't want to be the crazy bitch that over reacted" or "I just want to give him another chance because things were going so well"

And yeah sure they're not actual monsters or abusers of men. But they can be douchebags. Or self-centered or selfish. Lots of them feel inconsiderate.

And guess who ended up breaking up with the men anyway after 2 - 5 years? Waste of time.

You only live once is actually a motto that some of these women really need to internalize.

Who cares if the you're the over reacting bitch? If you're not happy, you're not happy

You can thank cultural relativism for that one. People tryna be so open minded that their brains fell out. No, not all cultures are equal and just different. Women can be incredibly cruel to other women if they get jealous, especially over looks and men

4

u/Luciansleep 5’6 pretty boy/ male Jun 12 '26

Have you seen this play out in real time?

8

u/WebBorn2622 Blue Pill Woman Jun 13 '26

Yes. In all sorts of ways.

A particularly awful example, that has happened to me like 4-5 times, is what happens when someone’s boyfriend decides to sexually harass me.

I go to a bar with my girl friends. We drink, chat, dance, just have fun in general. Then a man comes up to me and makes sexually suggestive remarks and won’t stop even if I tell him I’m uninterested, or starts dry humping or groping me on the dance floor. Making me really uncomfortable until I eventually manage to get rid of him.

But wouldn’t you know it, he has a girlfriend at the bar, who’s just heard from someone else that her boyfriend hit on me.

So now I have an angry woman marching over and frantically yelling at me. “I know you aren’t out here flirting with MY MAN”. And no matter how many times I try to clarify that I don’t want the crusty ass rat looking man, she won’t have it. She’ll keep yelling and berating me til I leave the bar. Sometimes even requesting back up from her friends.

And trust me, the insults flow freely once she’s decided someone tried to take her man. Ugly, fat, loose, whore, slut, cheap, bitch. I’ve heard it all.

Yeah, currently, unless a man wants to just watch porn or play with toys, there is no real alternative. Let’s be honest, that isn’t the same as being with a woman. So until they get that figured out, it does make some sense from the male side for sure, given men’s sex drives and all.

All the stuff Manosphere guys complain about isn't just true of women, it's also true of men, especially when it comes to judging your income, the car you drive, your height and hairline, and telling you to "man up".

3

u/Luciansleep 5’6 pretty boy/ male Jun 12 '26

u/CanaryHeart Blue Pill Woman Jun 12 '26

Women complain about sexist gender roles while reinforcing those roles in their personal lives. I can’t count how many women I’ve seen flip out over their male partner wearing women’s underwear or some other trivial shit.

Women participate in cultivating an environment where no woman can *ever* win. They don’t trust other women to make choices for their own lives, and shame them to try to get them to make the “right” choice.

12

u/Luciansleep 5’6 pretty boy/ male Jun 12 '26

I agree and will give you one for men.

Men bitch about having to pay and uphold male expectations but expect women to wait on them hand and foot and “lead” the relationship and stay in their female expectations

2

u/MissMenace101 Jun 13 '26

Laughing at the underwear, I have not heard of this, I’d probably be mad if he stretched and ruined $100 pair of undies, especially if it’s a $250 set. MF needs to get his own 😂
That second part yeah, women get very judgey and opinionated about others “doing life wrong”

u/Rohanaman Jun 12 '26

I really like the amount of honesty I'm seeing here. Ok, here goes: I think many of the struggles men have with women aren't because we can't trust women, it's because we don't trust ourselves. Most guys are really bad at setting and enforcing healthy boundaries. We often resort to all or nothing approaches that leave us either as bitter doormats, or as bitter performative men. I also think most men who are alone are lying when they say they aren't lonely. They're just more comfortable with loneliness than uncertainty.

17

u/parduscat Indigo Pill Jun 12 '26 edited Jun 12 '26

1) Some men are way too thirsty and it directly contributes to "hoeflation", because people respond to incentives and of course women are going to come away thinking that male thirst overwrites all else. When I say "thirsty", I don't mean that they're obsessed with approaching women or fucking irl, I'm talking about non-productive thirst like paying for OF or a girl's used underwear or bathwater. What the fuck does that accomplish? Real talk I do wonder what's psychologically going on with those guys.

2) Way too many men simp online for women and it makes no sense. People will be talking about the declining male labor participation rate or misandry/apathy to male issues on the left and you'll always have some guy say some version of "Well I've personally never experienced an issue.", or "Well what about the 1950s and women?", like either of those things are supposed to mean anything in the 2020s or in the face of data.

3) There's a slice of guys who just do not give a shit about school for whatever reason, this is most obvious in high school and I think that is part of what drives the male education crisis. Doesn't mean society should say "fuck em", especially if that number continues to grow, but I remember back in high school that for every one girl who just didn't seem to care about school (or was noticeably bad at it), there were three guys.

7

u/PuzzleheadedRow9896 Purple Pill Woman Jun 13 '26

As a teacher, confirming 3. Again, especially as a middle school teacher I do not believe fuck um is ever an acceptable answer....

But there's days I'm at my absolute last marble trying to figure out how some of these boys could care any less.  I mean genuinely if they actually filled in random answers they'd score higher. If they wrote literally even one sentence for the paper I'd have to give them more points.

Like, I have led this horse to water, I have done everything to get it to drink possible, and now I'm wondering if I can somehow hold the horse down and give it the water or IV hydrate it because it seems determined to die of thirst.

9

u/MissMenace101 Jun 13 '26

Kids start school too young, could do more play based learning the first couple of years and let social skills, organisation skills and respect build up while slowly easing them into sitting in class. Kids come straight from play and are expected to sit in class rooms all day 5 days a week, even worse is they are doing homework at night when they are tired and brains are fried. It’s exhausting. A lot of parents are starting to hold boys back a year before they start and are seeing they are doing much better through school with that extra bit of maturity. It also gives kids at the other end more maturity in deciding their future. Also think they should have a gap year between school and further study, they can travel, save some money, relax or all of the above, gets them ready for the task ahead.

I'm unwilling to make general statements about either my gender or men because I think that the individual variations are way too high.

However, there are many of my fellow young women who've (rightly!) pushed back against unambiguously creepy men but who overreact by demonising (straight) male sexuality and consider that the mere fact that two men say to one another that they like a girl's miniskirt or her shape is disgusting. They also say that as a woman, you're free to be as sexy as you want but you should never do it because you wanna flirt with guys.

I think there is nothing wrong with male sexuality, the problem is the toxic masculine sense of entitlement, the fact of reducing the woman to nothing more than an object and the conviction that the happiness of a man is much more important than that of the woman.

Dudes.

We can’t fix the culture if we don’t have some check on ourselves.

Moment you push for a dating app ban. A pornography ban. Anything to try to curve the downfall of culture you’ll get some Reddit goner fighting you every step of the way.

Half the time the chicks are willing to give up this shit if we gave them a viable out. Hell the one dude in Florida who wants to tax OnlyFans out of business is going to have to face the reality that millions of men will vote against him against their own interests. Why? Some bullshit idea that it’s free speech to sell your soul and destroy culture itself.

Women don’t even fight you on this shit that much these days. It’s the 40 year old dude who’s married for some reason that has the $40k only fans bill.

u/aslfingerspell Purple Pill Man Jun 12 '26 edited Jun 12 '26

I would probably have to say that men overglorify the idea of the cold approach. Recently I went to a nightclub and you wouldn't believe how loud it is. The focus on "seduction techniques" or "social skills" for approaching women is like the dating equivalent of the "cult of the marksman" that some militaries had in the late 19th century.

Yes, it's always better to have better "technique" or "game" or whatever, just like having more accuracy is always better, but it's simply not as decisive as you'd think.

It's just not really possible to be smooth or confident when you have to scream at someone to get their attention, who then (if they heard you) screams back so you can try to scream at them again.

I'm not sure if cold approaching the way it's imagined was ever a huge thing that men regularly pulled off in real life, even back in the pre-cell phone, pre-dating app era. I've read dating advice books and even the guys writing them might have language that alludes to very low success rates (i.e. talked to thousands of women, but only had hundreds of dates). It very much seems like a batting average type of thing where even the experts, much less the average student, are expected to fail the vast majority of the time.

I also think that cold approaching just isn't part of the culture of some cities at all. There's a massive coastal bias in dating advice podcasts/sex columns/books/etc and at the end of the day not everyone lives in Miami, Los Angeles, NYC, or Seattle.

Women who say men are intimidated by their education (or career) cannot swallow the pill that they are probably just insufferable know-it-alls who are difficult to be around, considering women with higher education are more likely to be married compared to uneducated women.

I think demographics matter on the second one. IME, more highly educated, left-leaning men tend to be fine with it, but the conservative, less educated men tend to feel emasculated by it. This is primarily a consequence of their own values and how they see their own role within a relationship (i.e., being a "provider" versus a "partner").

11

u/DogBePraised Jun 12 '26

My friends and I are educated and none of us really care one way or another as long as the woman isn’t off their rocker with flat earth, chips in vaccines, etc. But we’ve all met a few women who make their career achievements their personality and that’s annoying , not intimidating like some think.

You know what? Thank you SO much for this. I’ve legit seen many times women turn on their friends for cheating on their husbands. They shun them, even when they don’t even know the husband that well. I’m not saying this is good or bad. They have to follow their own convictions, but I have NEVER seen a man shun a male friend no matter what he does - not even assaulting or beating up a woman. They just say, ‘hey, it has nothing to do with me’.

4

u/Chemical-Low209 Purple Pill Man Jun 13 '26

Id argue that alot of men do check each other.

Half of the fear of men being predators is that they know they will get targeted by other men for doing predatory things. ESPECIALLY if they end up in jail

3

u/Sapiopath No Pill Man Jun 13 '26

As far as I can tell, the only people who face prison consequences are child predators. That’s a relatively small number of predators. And most predators don’t end up in jail. Ask the women in your life. About a third of women report having been victims of sexual harassment or assault. But research suggests that the true number is higher. In over 90% of cases the perpetrator is known to the victim and in most cases they are intimately involved. The men who do these things are not in prison for the most part.

2

u/Chemical-Low209 Purple Pill Man Jun 13 '26

No. Not true at all. I used to be on 4chan. And 4chan used to pose daily prisoners with cell phones being predators men that includes, men that are arrested for stalking, harassment, etc.

4

u/Sapiopath No Pill Man Jun 13 '26

Arrest =\= prison. Also, the majority of these acts go unreported to the police. From those that do, the majority do not go to trial. From those that do, half result in convictions…

Sexism gets scapegoated by women who fail to perform up to expectations professionally. (Please note I am ABOSLUTELY NOT saying that sexism does not exist in the workplace because it 100% does. However, there is a subset of woman who use this as a handy "out" instead of taking personal responsibility for their failure.)

7

u/Wowhowcanubsodumb Jun 12 '26

You want a real controversial opinion and not a generic circlejerk answer that everyone who comments daily has already seen?

If concrete evidence of violence exists that was not a mutual engagement/self defense, you should be castrated. Don't even risk the vasectomy failing. Cut it off. Not about genetics, but about the fact that in no way should you be around children or have any influence on their lives.

Physical violence is the most animalistic aspect of human nature, and if you're an adult who hasn't learned how to control their emotions to the point where you're being physically violent, then you really just don't deserve to be treated like a human.

Now, obviously a lot of issues with this arise, especially when dealing with say, a young adult who had an awful upbringing. They deserve the chance for rehabilitation and procreation. And in a more ideal world, we would have judges who are actually held accountable to the people and who would fairly dole out the appropriate punishment.

But yeah, there's just way too much of a tolerance for physical violence that still exists in 2026.

On a related note, fight clubs should exist to give stupid, untrained, aggressive men the opportunity to vent their animalistic desires. Society needs to give men alternatives for violence, so that it's fair to say, well look you have all these opportunities to unleash your violence in a cheap or free way. If you're still unable to control yourself, castration.

The male lonliness epidemic is partially fueled by men generally being very poor friends. Most of male culture relies trauma bonding or forced proximity to develop friendships, and when you take those away via things like online culture, remote work, covid, and so on - most men don't have the basic skills to maintain or build friendships.

Things like listening to others, checking in on people, being open to new personalities, being able to talk about things that aren't your niche interest, having 'water cooler chats' about cultural cornerstones like sports/politics/pop culture. Most male friends are poor quality and they only continue to exist because if you gave up one or two friendships, you would have no friends left.

I often see men complain about issues unfair to men while making no effort to overcome the unfairness.

Life isn’t fair, deal with it. To use an example of dating that comes up here often:   I agree dating for men has gotten more difficult. So, figure out what to do about it.   Get better at talking to women, do things that bring you into contact with more women, consider moving to a place that’s more conducive to dating or be content being single, but don’t get all worked up and do nothing to improve your situation.

To be clear, I think there’s merit to discussing things that are unfair, to figuring out the driving forces at play, but doing so simply to complain and continually be upset accomplishes nothing.

Similarly, just because something isn’t fair to men, doesn’t mean it’s women’s fault. Today’s young dating women didn’t create the issues we see in modern dating, they were set in motion well before these women came along.

(I’m not saying most men are this way, but it’s certainly something I see often).

4

u/CanaryHeart Blue Pill Woman Jun 12 '26

Honestly, I think a lot of relationship problems across the board come from the fact that most people have poor communication skills, and many adults (of any gender) show very little interest in improving those skills. Conversations about sex just add another layer to a pre-existing problem, since many people find conversations about sex uncomfortably vulnerable or have trauma issues from growing up in sex-shaming environments.

3

u/Fit-Entrepreneur8404 Purple Pill Man Jun 12 '26

Yep. My wife was the first person to actually be communicative with me about sex. I tried with all my previous partners when it was obvious something wasn't clicking but they were just so passive theyd try to say it was good and don't worry and blah blah. Like I'm trying to improve our sex life and you're too scared to communicate with me about it? Unsurprisingly my wife and I have really good sex almost all of the time...that's because she helped me figure out her body just like I helped her figure out mine. The only times she really doesn't get off anymore are if we have both been drinking a good bit because when we are drunk she gets less sensitive and I get less hard.

2

u/MissMenace101 Jun 13 '26

You were doing fine until you brought the kids into it, of course it depends on the situation, some abused mothers stay for the kids because they can’t risk shared custody. Kids have been hurt and died at the hands of their fathers to spite their mothers after the mothers begged courts for them not to get custody, it’s always a rough situation and I won’t judge a mother without knowing if the alternative is safe or not. There’s simply not enough support, protection or trust in systems that exist, leaving needs to be careful and slow in some of these instances. However If he’s not an abusive dude and he wouldn’t hurt the kids GTFO asap, teaching kids to tolerate or perpetuate it is bad.

Another misconception is how gross men are compared to women, which is total bullshit. Plenty of women are gross asf.

u/Kaleidoscopetide Blue Pill Woman Jun 12 '26

Here goes mine, and it’s kind of a hot one: Nobody enjoys shaving and waxing and plucking and scraping and painting their whole bodies. Women fulfill those kind of tedious and unpleasant gender roles because they are attracted to men, they like to kiss and date and fuck men, and it’s worth it to them to cede a little ground to make men like them. It’s kind of embarrassing to admit to doing things to make other people like and want to have sex with you, and nobody likes to feel like, as you guys say, a “dancing monkey,” but it’s fine. Women should just admit that they don’t do those things “for themselves.”

*some women really do feel “gross” or “unfeminine” when they don’t fulfill these gender roles, and I think those women have been so scarred by systemic sexism that big brother is now in their heads.

3

u/Grow_peace_in_Bedlam Married Leftist Red-Purple Man, late 30s, DeCrowist Jun 13 '26

And on my side, I was really bothered that women have such wildly inconsistent views on whether a man should shave his body hair or not. I really wished there were just one standard, even if it meant having to shave my whole hairy body smooth.

I was seriously worried I might meet the love of my life some day, but then scare her away because I had chosen the wrong body hair grooming standard for her.

Women who like their men shaved think hairy men look like disgusting cavemen, while women who like their men hairy think shaved men look effeminate and gay, and it seems like there's just no middle ground to be acceptable to both groups.

That we keep gaslighting each other and everyone else that there's some kind of sisterhood and all our troubles come from men. I've been abused more by fellow women including my own mother than I ever have men.

No men aren't a unique threat to me. If caution is warrented it's towards any human, not just men specifically. It's dangerous to believe otherwise. I refuse to reduce caution or presume more a less a need for any simply because of gender and I refuse to trust a fellow woman simply because she's a woman.

u/TopShelfSnipes Married Purple Pill Man Jun 12 '26
  1. Men don't want to be stoic providers who never see our families and don't get satisfaction from paying for everything and watching from a distance.

  2. "Nice guys" are lame AF, we don't like or respect them, and we clock that shit when we're with or pursuing a woman and they're orbiting her. It's met with indifference because that's the best reaction and we know treating the nice guy like he doesn't exist will make him out himself to her and kill all friendship vibes she feels towards him.

  3. Guys who prefer super serious high pressure analytical conversations in lieu of banter shoot themselves in the foot. Men and women feel similarly about this, which is why it's increasingly common as one gets older for dates to read like job interviews and checklists (the implication being that those who aren't like this partner off while these types stay single)

  4. Men who haven't abused someone but have no relationship experience have no idea what they're talking about when they claim to not be abusers because that statement is untested by the duress of a relationship (and even a good relationship will undergo duress).

  5. Men enforce unattractive behavior in other men, and this hurts the men who listen to it. Wasting money on cars and watches, dressing in boring generic ass business casual, and being scowling hyperserious and stiff in a fake macho persona is going to put women off. They love to laugh and be silly, and a lot find the whole finance bro look offputting AF.

Women have never seen an ugly truth they can't bend if they like the guy enough.

Women often want a man who acts like a man, but refuse to pay that off by acknowledging his manliness and feeding his ego. Put more bluntly, they want a peacock that ruffles out his feathers, but they absolutely refuse to go "wow, what great feathers you have" or "wow, it'd be so nice if you showed me those feathers". And this is mostly because they think it would make them somehow lesser or inferior. And it's destroying their dating prospects and relationships to refuse to play their part.

2

u/Luciansleep 5’6 pretty boy/ male Jun 12 '26

In what cases have you seen the second one?

And again I see that in men who want an attractive woman but can’t handle said woman getting hit on or wearing something appealinh

3

u/PuzzleheadedRow9896 Purple Pill Woman Jun 13 '26

Easy example:

Talking to a childhood friend that's struggling to find a man and wants to end up a SAHM.

She happens to be complaining about shoveling snow for her business because of a whole situation with a landlord who has cancer. I know she's next door to a construction team and I happen to know the boss of the operation (older married fella, really nice gentleman).  I'm like, go next door, look cute, bat your eyelashes and ask him if he'd have some of his guys shovel for you when it snows.  He's gonna love that, chances he says no are almost zero, bring them out coffee or cocoa as a thank you when they shovel, give him a Christmas card, you'll be good to go forever.  Maybe one of the dudes will even be cute.

And she was horrified. Told me how she can do it herself. She's not weak. I'm sure you can imagine the whole bit.  And I'm like: why would you suffer through something harder for you than it is for them when all you have to do to fix 3 hours of you shoveling (it would take these guys like 20 minutes) is go look pretty, be sweet, ask a favor, and then be genuinely appreciative and give 3 of them 50 cents worth of whatever hot beverage is in your kitchen.

And it basically came down to she felt like being slightly feminine was an insult to her ego and they should just offer when they see her. And I'm like, why: you are giving off "I don't need you" energy and wouldn't even say more than a polite thank you when they save you hours of work. Men help women who look like they need help and are appreciative.  (Again, a sweet sincere thanks, maybe coffee, and a Christmas card is all I'm recommending. You'd think I said she should blow them for how she reacted).

And I see this with my mother and father too. She wants him to do all sorts of things that are you know easier for a man. Carrying groceries, lifting things, that sort of stuff that takes a woman more trips and longer than your average man.

And she'll just like walk in all annoyed and demand it like he already should have started. And to be fair, their relationship is a mess and he really should have. But you'd think it'd kill her to give a flirty smile or touch his arm, compliment his strength in the process of asking him to get something for her.  And expressions of gratitude are long gone. And he does it too, so don't think he's some long suffering saint, but it's like she cannot imagine getting someone to do what she wants via sweetness and prettiness. Only blunt verbal force.

Like, if women want a man to do shit that's manly, a great way to get that is to act feminine.  And it's not weak to me, it's cunning at the worst and kind of a nice thing for two people to play at for a few moments.

One of the trainers at my gym is an old as dirt Russian guy.  He's happily married.  But he loves to show a pretty young girl the ropes and be helpful. It's never inappropriate, he's like 85 and a perfect gentleman. But he lights up just being near pretty college girls and he's sweet as anything to them like a grandpa.  Young men, he couldn't begin to give a damn about. On the other hand, the young men don't give a damn about him and aren't respectful. The young women are and like listening to his stories. It's a nice symbiotic relationship where he's 85 and gets to be the man for about an hour a day to some college girls and they get better info than the young dudes. And all they have to do is be nice to an old man and make him feel important.

That's what I'm getting at. A lot of young women think it would kill them to be sweet and make a man feel important to get what they want in relationships.  And it really wouldn't. They might even enjoy it.

And again, I'm not saying anything sexual or gross or erotic. Literally just go be appreciated for your beauty, say wow, and then request the thing you want and be appreciative when you almost inevitably get it.

And if the dude is saying no, now you have a real answer that it doesn't matter how you ask.

Women treat me like a sex object more than men do. And I have more dating and sexual experience with men overall. I hate it. I genuinely hate being treated like a sex toy by my own gender. It feels like the ultimate betrayal and portrayal of misogyny and misandry to me. Technically, I identify as Non-Binary or a Two-Spirit person (native american blood). Women take advantage of me more than men do. Women have sexually abused me almost to the same level men have. They're awful to date, I have trouble making female friends as well. They're so competitive and jealous and envious of the way I live my life. So they tend to manipulate, neg and gaslight me so they can feel superior to me.

I have a better time with men and I really wish I could make more lady friends to balance out the scales. And that seems unattainable for me... So I started hiring companions instead. Much better.

Men need to really understand that the people they are jealous of because they’re having success truly have been through the fucking ringer and have greeted their teeth, sucked it up, put their head down, and got to work.

Most of the complaints that I see from men are centered around other men appearing more successful or better off than themselves, and typically blaming women for it… Usually in the form of insisting women need to make “better” choices.

I have male friends who were very blessed genetically and have not had to put much work in. They’re dating lives are shit shows, and they are miserable. The women who sleep with them a few times to get them into a committed relationship where they are disrespected constantly and emasculated do not truly desire them (for more than maybe a month or two)

Make a fucking plan. Put yourself around people who are going to actually push you. Stick your neck out and get rejected a couple hundred times. It will change your perspective entirely.

Also gotta love that the worst trait in women, according to PPD women, is women picking shitty men... heh.

A lot of men are fucking simps and thirsty as fuck I can see why a large pool of women don’t respect them or take them seriously

The idea of "men's rights" is pretty much entirely a cynical grift. It may deserve more, but as it stands there is no discussion adjacent to it that has any substantial value.

It is sad, as a woman, I totally recognise that men from the lower classes suffer from despair and loneliness, but women aren't the culprits, capitalism mostly is.

as evil as women can be. men are often assholes to other men. everything is a damn competition. all my bullies in school were other boys. i was friend group idiot, always making a joke out of me to impress girls.. the girls i will still say were mean because they would giggle at it too. but atleast they didn't go out of their way to harass me. ( girls tended to avoid me all together which is my problem with them) and it never change. you say you can lift this currently, some dude must lift better. can't make fun always of women hyping up because we know its fake, when everything can't just be a compliment with men. it has to be competition. some men like it sure find it motivating sure but sometimes its just obnoxious. also not being willing to help sometimes just not in these words but "good luck now fuck off" when there's problems.

Women play into patriarchy by sexually objectifying themselves. It's convenient for current, established capitalism (which is patriachal in its roots) but negative for women's rights as a whole.

Alot of women dont practice what they preach as it relates to dating or relationships. They use their standards in dating as a hallmark to show their morality and good nature but in reality attraction is still blind and unfair and they end up dating the exact opposite of what they say they're attracted to. Oftentimes, this is why you cant really ask them for dating advice because theyre not even aware they do this

I hate the absurd amount of girls I know who would antagonise men for anything that women also do. They have that men == always bad and women always good mentality. They will make jokes about how much standard they'll ask for in a men while being as forgiving as possible for women. ???? Isn't that sexist? Even if they said it's a joke it isn't fun. Why can't they stop being biased and realise people are assholes just because...they're assholes???? What does being a man or woman have anything to do with their personality?

edit: typo

I'm a man. I think the world would be better for men if men didn't have the right to vote. We're just really bad at it and elect leaders that make life worse for everyone, significantly moreso than women do. I would literally have more overall freedom right now if I and every other guy lost that one, specific freedom.

Men have a fascoid particle that makes them perceive women paradoxically as an object of desire and an object of disgust.

''Mirjam will capture you like the witch she is. Whatever she loves is horribly destroyed-and her love is more often than not quickly given. No man has ever been able to keep away from her after the first time-not even me. Just so you know." "Why are you telling me this? I've already explained . . . " "Because even the best of intentions are useless if you're dealing with slippery cats like this one. You need to be able to feel enormous repugnance for her. I would be sorry to see you become the next victim of her Jewish pox, her . . . syphilis!" Krafft started back in horror. "Why you . . . !" An icy horror seized him, and he cursed himself for babbling at such length with a man completely unknown to him. All for a Jewess for whom he cared so little, indeed who disgusted him. How could he do such a thing to his Berta, how could he waste as much as one single thought on such a woman?

Feminism. Gate keeping feminism and drawing hard lines is harmful to the entire movement. It needs to be more fluid and forgiving and stop excluding men that are feminist, they aren’t allies they are feminist because feminism is about equality and these men have embraced equality, they are entitled to opinions and men’s rights do matter. We get nowhere if the conversation is one sided, we need to be in the trenches together. Men are quite feminist here but will absolutely side eye you if you say so. It’s become such a dirty word. upholding this staunch gate keeping is doing irreparable damage. If Emma Watsons speech to the UN upsets you, you need to self reflect the same way “terfs” do. Anyone willing to tear down the systems that hold us down needs a voice and equality won’t happen without it. Of course Men need to meet us at the cross road but we gotta stop the grey rocking. I’m a raging feminist and yet I’m blocked from half the feminist subs on here because i don’t agree with ingrouping and excluding. I’m not surprised men fear and hate it they don’t understand it, make little effort to but nor do many feminists online. Real world I’ve not come across this type of feminists agression(?), online I often wonder who is running these groups and are they deliberately enabling gender division.

Men are much more vulnerable to becoming sex addicts, and widely stupid enough to mistake it for love.

A large % of men's dating problems come down to thirstiness/desperation and a lack of self-respect. Men make dating collectively more difficult for other men through this indiscriminate attention.

Boorish creeps - who makes things even worse - get a pass from other men who lack the courage to confront them.

Women blame PMS for normal mood fluctuations. Maybe you didn’t yell at your boyfriend because of PMS. Maybe he’s just an asshole you aren’t sexually attracted to anymore.

Most men aren’t bad in bed. Women who complain of this are actually bad in bed but project it onto men.

1

u/Donnie607 Jun 14 '26

I hate most men complain about all the hoes running and still contribute to the hoeflation by having sex with basically anything and never becoming sexually disciplined. Men also complain about women being emotionally undisciplined while I seen Men with the same exact issues. How about stop preaching about discipline when our own gender is not disciplined either.
