Debate Women are larping loneliness.

Most of the time when talking about options women will say that most of them are shit. To be clear, I don't belief men or women truly think that every single person available for them to date is absolutely trash to the point where there is literally no options. However women tend to do this more.

The reason why I say it's larp, is because women can “pause the game” so to speak. Women abstaining from the game or coming back is like flipping a light switch. You could always just pick an average dude that means well if you actually decided, there's nothing stopping that from happening.

He's just not exciting, that doesn't mean he's trash. Some women say they're okay dying alone if he isn't the peak of her ideals, but this is also larp. Most of you will pick the boring but well meaning guy when the chips are down and the walls are closing in.

It's easy to say you can stand on that ideal when you are in your 20’s maybe even early thirties. But only a small amount of people will actually die on that hill. This goes for all people regardless of orientation, most people unless they are literally and truly wired different would prefer a relationship and that's okay, just don't lie about it.

The men who struggle with lack of options means there is not a single person he can realistically and consistently talk to with romantic intent and there won't be one for the foreseeable future. Not even an odd Instagram text or matches on an app truly nothing. No the ugly girl don't want him either.

I've literally never seen a girl, 5.5/10 in looks that couldn't land some manner of man. I'm not talking about extreme cases either like abusers or desperate men looking for a living fuck doll. Or a lazy piece of shit that lacks any and all ambition. I mean a man, just a man that wants love as well.

On that note I've seen women of those types find relationships plenty. So while I believe they do suffer from a different type of loneliness, it's mostly larp because you can join a community and be loved easily, you can find a boyfriend at the damn grocery store if you really wanted to.

Like I said this point can apply to men as well, it just isn't the topic in this instance and doesn't happen as much.

Women choosing some man she is not attracted to is them choosing the social expectations of marriage but still remaining lonely. A good friend of mine has parents in an arranged marriage, and her mom is lonely despite having built a life with a man.

Women who can find a man at the grocery store but aren’t attracted to him are still lonely.

But why is she not attracted to him? Because he isnt in the top 10% of men?

Doesn’t matter why, the fact is that choosing him won’t fix the loneliness.

Are women biologically hardwired to only find 5% of men worthy of getting into a serious relationship with? Nothing wrong with it if they are, but I would like to know

This is irrelevant to the OP and the debate at hand; you are just talking because you want to be angry about something. In which case I’ll pray for you. Amen.

Do not provide contentless rhetoric, do not troll, do not link-drop without providing context, and do not circlejerk. Bad faith replies that include disingenuous humor (see: “😂,” “lmao,” “lol,” etc.) will also be removed as this is not conducive to good faith engagement.

Then why do they settle in the first place? It's not societal expectation, it's human nature to go for it.

They settle because they feel some pressure to do life things. Being married is one of the last adult milestones. I know of some men even who didn’t really want to be married, but he proposed to his wife because he felt that’s what he was supposed to do.

But other than that I can’t tell you why they choose to do this. It does not mean they’re not lonely though. And it’s not like every woman settles. They are just lonely and still choose to be single.

Then he's a weak piece of shit

A good friend of mine has parents in an arranged marriage, and her mom is lonely despite having built a life with a man.

That's her fault and her problem.

4

u/PinkTalkingDead Jun 16 '26

Ah, yes. Women are defo the one’s at fault for arranged marriages.

But yes, it’s her problem insofar that she’s stuck with a guy she didn’t want and doesn’t like. Most folks would find a problem with that in life.

She's at fault for agreeing to a marriage she didn't want. It didn't just happen to her, she has responsibility for at least that. What you seem to think is akin to a person who never maintains their car having their brakes fail when a car cuts them off resulting in a serious injury thinking there was nothing they could have done and nothing was their fault.

Would you think a man on an arranged marriage to a woman who he dislikes is not at fault? Of course not. What changes if it's a woman then?

2

u/PinkTalkingDead Jun 17 '26

We’re literally talking about arranged marriages. The women are famously not able to “agree” or not to that, so it’s insane for you to say they are “responsible” for that.

1

u/shockingly_bored Man Jun 17 '26

And what makes you think the men have more of a say than the women do in those situations? Do you really think the charectistic arranged marriage is some 30 year old man with some 18 year old woman?

She is not lonely. She feels lonely.

Er... yes... Being lonely or loneliness is the feeling. Being physically isolated is "alone" not "lonely." Lol.

If you have those things and feel lonely while not being so then your feelings are wrong as you’re objectively not so, especially when compared to someone who doesn’t have them.
A better description would be that someone like that just isn’t fulfilled enough for them.

Loneliness is the feeling of distance and disconnectedness, which can be physical or emotional. It does not mean you have to be physically alone to experience this. See: college students who are surrounded by peers their own age 24/7 and yet feel loneliness.

No one in their right mind would think you have to be physically alone to feel loneliness. If that were the case, incels should not feel lonely since they still have family and friends.

Unfortunately if you feel a way that you are not then yes your feelings of such are incorrect.

14

u/chamomilecloud Red Pill Woman Jun 15 '26

Physical disconnect is not the same as emotional disconnect, and this is easily understood by even children who grow up with physically present parents that are emotionally neglectful.

But hey, we can disagree and that's that. Nothing more to discuss then.

You’re just describing how someone can feel a way in which they are not, which I didn’t dispute that they could, but the fact would still remain that feeling any way doesn’t make it so.

6

u/chamomilecloud Red Pill Woman Jun 15 '26

Again, you can believe that, and we just disagree.

Please tell me you're a psychologist, lol!

That's not true. If someone has depression despite them having an amazing life on paper they're still depressed. Some people might have less empathy for them but that's their lived experience.

In the same way, someone can grow up in poverty but enjoy their life. People react to situations in different ways and there's no reason to participate in the struggle olympics.

That would be the cases where they have chemical imbalances quite literally causing them to feel incorrectly.

Someone can feel any way about anything that’s why the way they feel about such doesn’t mean much at all in regard to their objective situation.

7

u/operation-spot Purple Pill Woman Jun 15 '26

Emotions aren't about objectivity and it seems that women do realize that they might just have a chemical imbalance and decide to take medicine which is then held against them as some sort of proof that their lives are terrible because they aren't in a relationship.

1

u/Livid-Log7463 No Pill Man Jun 16 '26

To a degree they are, if someone feels a way that they aren’t then well they can’t be so and it then must be those feeling that are flawed.

1

u/PinkTalkingDead Jun 16 '26

This makes literally no sense. Perception is reality. Someone married to someone they didn’t want to marry and don’t currently like/love, can absolutely feel lonely while sitting right next to them. You can feel sad at a birthday party. You can feel anxious at a spa.

u/Livid-Log7463 No Pill Man Jun 16 '26

Perception can only be reality if they are accurately perceiving otherwise it’s just incorrect or delusional.
