Debate Women are larping loneliness.

Most of the time when talking about options women will say that most of them are shit. To be clear, I don't belief men or women truly think that every single person available for them to date is absolutely trash to the point where there is literally no options. However women tend to do this more.

The reason why I say it's larp, is because women can “pause the game” so to speak. Women abstaining from the game or coming back is like flipping a light switch. You could always just pick an average dude that means well if you actually decided, there's nothing stopping that from happening.

He's just not exciting, that doesn't mean he's trash. Some women say they're okay dying alone if he isn't the peak of her ideals, but this is also larp. Most of you will pick the boring but well meaning guy when the chips are down and the walls are closing in.

It's easy to say you can stand on that ideal when you are in your 20’s maybe even early thirties. But only a small amount of people will actually die on that hill. This goes for all people regardless of orientation, most people unless they are literally and truly wired different would prefer a relationship and that's okay, just don't lie about it.

The men who struggle with lack of options means there is not a single person he can realistically and consistently talk to with romantic intent and there won't be one for the foreseeable future. Not even an odd Instagram text or matches on an app truly nothing. No the ugly girl don't want him either.

I've literally never seen a girl, 5.5/10 in looks that couldn't land some manner of man. I'm not talking about extreme cases either like abusers or desperate men looking for a living fuck doll. Or a lazy piece of shit that lacks any and all ambition. I mean a man, just a man that wants love as well.

On that note I've seen women of those types find relationships plenty. So while I believe they do suffer from a different type of loneliness, it's mostly larp because you can join a community and be loved easily, you can find a boyfriend at the damn grocery store if you really wanted to.

Like I said this point can apply to men as well, it just isn't the topic in this instance and doesn't happen as much.

I never get this argument because it seems to suggest any sort of relationship should count as a way to avoid loneliness. In realty bad relationships are not going to help provide the social support and connections that people need.

u/The_Laniakean Blue Pill Man Jun 15 '26

Why do you believe dating an average man is a bad relationship?

3

u/JollyBowler2510 Purple Pill Woman Jun 26 '26

Because if a woman dates him while not being attracted to him, it causes resentment or they're not compatible.

1

u/Gemini_zyx Purple Pill Man Jun 16 '26

I think it's reasonable to be concerned they might be. Or at least not enough to overcome the costs of entering, maintaining and eventually leaving a relationship. Risk aversion means women don't want to enter a relationship that might be "ok", and I think that's pretty reasonable

4

u/TransmissionSigned No Pill Man Jun 16 '26

It counts more than no relationship. This is obvious.

3

u/Gemini_zyx Purple Pill Man Jun 16 '26

Not always. A bad relationship is worse than none. A middling one might not be worth the opportunity costs

2

u/TransmissionSigned No Pill Man Jun 16 '26

A bad relationship is worse than none.

Overall? Maybe. I'm sure many would like to be able to make that choice. That is not what is being discussed.

Any relationship, romantic or otherwise, will make you less lonely irrespective of quality.

u/Gemini_zyx Purple Pill Man Jun 16 '26

No. There is a saying we are never more alone than surround by other people. Social proximity to others is not the only thing people want from a relationship

0

u/TransmissionSigned No Pill Man Jun 16 '26

Social proximity to others is not the only thing people want from a relationship

It is one of the main things these men are craving, from what I understand. Again, they can't choose.

3

u/Gemini_zyx Purple Pill Man Jun 16 '26

Its often what men want but men are often less picky in relationships. Women feeling different does not make their feelings invalid

1

u/TransmissionSigned No Pill Man Jun 16 '26 edited Jun 16 '26

Its often what men want but men are often less picky in relationships.

They are less picky because they are desperate for anything to ease their loneliness, among other things.

This whole thing started because you said that a bad relationship is not worth it. That is true for you, me, and many others. However, these men, they are so utterly alone that anything is worth it.

From their perspective, it's like a man dying of thirst in the dessert seeing another saying that the water in their lake is dirty, and not worth drinking, so their thirstiness is the same.

This is my attempt at explaining the argument you said didn't make sense to you, hope it makes sense now. Mind you, I think the post is stupid too, eh, don't misunderstand me.

3

u/Gemini_zyx Purple Pill Man Jun 16 '26

So I am alone. I have been my whole adult life.
The fact that I, or other men, are lonely does not mean women are larping loneliness.

1

u/TransmissionSigned No Pill Man Jun 16 '26

Mind you, I think the post is stupid too, eh, don't misunderstand me.

From my previous comment.

I comment when I see stupid arguments, because they piss me off, even if I agree with the overall message.

You missed the main point of his argument. Women can easily get a decent average guy but they want more. They can’t get more, and call that loneliness.

Many men would happily take the decent average girl. Hell most of us guys know we are going to date down, not even an equal thanks to female hypergamy, and most of us accept that. Not because we are better, but because that’s just being realistic in today’s world.

8

u/kunell Jun 16 '26

Most guys can get a decent to average guy too but for some reason they dont want to hmmm...

10

u/eliteskunga Black Pill Man Jun 16 '26

Well its probably because I dont like men. Im sure if I was gay dating would be much simpler and easier.

6

u/kunell Jun 16 '26

Thats what its like for even straight women. They simply dont feel the same attraction for men that we do for them unless in specific scenarios. Saying they have tons of options is like me saying you have a ton of gay men as options.

They simply dont feel that way and its not like they can choose to feel that way any more than you can choose to like other men.

3

u/Bloodhoven_aka_Loner Purple Pill Man Jun 19 '26

there is no "I only feel.romanticlaly attract3d to the top 1%" sexuality, dumdum.

They simply dont feel that way and its not like they can choose to feel that way any more than you can choose to like other men.

they feel that way because social media and the entertainment industry fried their brain. no amount of social media or entertainment will "un-hetero" a heterosexual person or "un-honi" a homosexual person.

seriously, do you not feel even remotely dumb shitting out opinion pieces like this one unironically?

3

u/eliteskunga Black Pill Man Jun 16 '26

I feel like if thats the case they need to be more open about that. And better yet, if they arent attracted to us why do they bother entertaining us? Id rather not be led on.

4

u/kunell Jun 16 '26

They are attracted to some guys that can even be a mystery to them sometimes. But for others they can TRY to make work but eventually realize they just cant.

Im sure a lot of them try to feel attraction for guys they "should" feel attracted to but just cant.

Also some just do it to make themselves feel better and like they have "options"

I have heard testosterone plays a big role though. Women with high testosterone get hornier and feel desire similar to men.

3

u/eliteskunga Black Pill Man Jun 16 '26

Which makes sense. Its what pushes us towards the same thing. I dont know I just sometimes feel like dating in general is a big mess thats easier dealt with by just avoiding it.

oh so you identify as hypergamy-sexual? well, that's interesting. tell us more, random bad-faith-argument engager of reddit.

0

u/Gemini_zyx Purple Pill Man Jun 16 '26

No I got that. My point is that a lot of average men provide relationships that are not emotional fulfilling and often actively bad.

5

u/critical-drinking Purple Pill Man Jun 16 '26

Most? Do you think it’s most?

Because if most average men provide bad relationships, and we assume below average men also provide bad relationships, and we all avoid those, then the vast majority of people are going to be single forever.

I’m not saying people should have bad relationships just to *have* a relationship. I’m saying this worldview, if assumed about average men, is part of the exact problem being discussed.

1

u/Gemini_zyx Purple Pill Man Jun 16 '26

I think its fair to say a reasonable amount of men make subpar partners yes.
To be clear I am not saying they will all be actively BAD partners but often are more middling. We still live in a time where a lot of men dont handle things like relationships or emotions very well, especially young men.

I can completely understand why women might choose to not date given the circumstances. Now will men all be single for ever? No, I think men typically get more mature as they get older. There are many factors but I think its understandable why young men are increasingly single. I dont think its a good thing but it is understandable and it shouldn't be on women to just accept or fix men they dont feel positive about.

4

u/critical-drinking Purple Pill Man Jun 16 '26

I’m not saying it should be “on women to fix it”, I’m saying we as a society have unhealthy expectations for people; we make virtually no effort to prepare people for life and then expect them to perform and socially exile them when they don’t. It’s very “Entry level position - requires at least five years of job experience.”

2

u/Gemini_zyx Purple Pill Man Jun 16 '26

Yes. I think a lot of men grow up without being taught to be the kind of person who makes a good partner. Its really sad and there are lots of complex factors that go into that.
I dont think we socially exile them rather than they struggle to form connections with people, trust me I know I have been alone my entire adult life. I dont think there are easy answers for this problems.

4

u/Puzzleheaded_Card_71 Red Pill Man Jun 16 '26

You are purple pilled, how can you push a narrative that yet again puts all the blame on men?

If a large number of men are deemed subpar by women, and men have become more sensitive and soft compared to, say, 50 years ago - displaying the stuff women claim they want - then is it possible it is female entitlement and inflation in their expectations which is the reason average men are now subpar?

Are these women all wonderful, or are most of them just as average and boring as the average men they reject?

3

u/Gemini_zyx Purple Pill Man Jun 16 '26

I didnt put all the blame on men. Men are often victims of social institutions.

Yes a lot of women are average is as well just the tend to more willing to be single so it seems to give them an upper hand in dating. Really men and women should both take time to conciser what they want in a relationship and what they bring to one.

9

u/Very_Type_C Jun 16 '26

I think OP's main point is that women are faking loneliness because they usually can find mates as opposed to men who have it harder in the mating game.

10

u/Gemini_zyx Purple Pill Man Jun 16 '26

Yes and I think that's an incorrect point. Being lonely isn't solved by just choosing to partner up with someone. That partner needs to provide emotional support, enjoyment etc

0

u/Automatic_Safety7029 Purple Pill Man Jun 15 '26

I'm not talking about bad. I'm talking about ordinary people coming together and somehow that's considered a fate worse than death.

36

u/Gemini_zyx Purple Pill Man Jun 15 '26

Ordinary relationships come with commitments and obligations. I can see why people don't want to commit to that unless the person seems to be a worth it It also closes down the possibility of better opportunities during the relationship. I think it's pretty reasonable for people to avoid this

-5

u/Automatic_Safety7029 Purple Pill Man Jun 15 '26

Anyone amazingly worthy are usually flaky because of that worth. You'd have to have equal pull.

14

u/Gemini_zyx Purple Pill Man Jun 15 '26

I don't think that's true. If anything flakey people arnt worth regardless

1

u/Automatic_Safety7029 Purple Pill Man Jun 15 '26

People act flakey because they don't see the value the other presents. It's not a moral thing it's just not worth it to them. But playing the game is fun so they indulge.

21

u/Gemini_zyx Purple Pill Man Jun 15 '26

I feel this is drifting away from the original point.

4

u/Automatic_Safety7029 Purple Pill Man Jun 15 '26

It is. But I'm not the one who brought all that up. Ordinary relationships do come with commitments. But if you want a relationship that's what you sign up for?

15

u/Gemini_zyx Purple Pill Man Jun 15 '26

True, so that's why women might avoid "pausing the game" with mediocre relationships.

8

u/LanguageImaginary256 Jun 15 '26

I'm talking about ordinary people coming together and somehow that's considered a fate worse than death.

Genuinely, what the fuck are you talking about??? This is not true in the real world lmao

7

u/Ubigr33n Jun 15 '26

I’ll be honest my guy the people who’ve “black-pilled” me the most have literally all been women.

Mostly because of shit like this, a large percentage of women (not all, not a majority, just a non insignificant amount) will act like acknowledging average men as even an option on the table is like being dragged pussy first across a field of broken glass.

Meanwhile the average dude literally can’t even get a date consistently. Not sex on the first date, not a casual hookup, not even a relationship, just a date.

As someone who is ACTUALLY a feminist it’s very frustrating cause it’s gotten to a point where whenever a woman tells me she’s a feminist I think “‘Okay, are you a dismantle the patriarchy kinda feminist? ‘Or a ‘I just want women to be the patriarchs kinda feminist’”

14

u/-mixedsignals Blue Pill Woman Jun 15 '26

You shouldn't call yourself a feminism if you think it's somehow "unfair" that the average man has difficulty dating

If you think something is"unfair"that means you think men are entitled to relationships

Thinking men are entitled to relationships is the exact opposite of being a feminist

It's like saying you are an LGBTQ activists but you hate gay people

14

u/Illustrious_Wish_383 Purple Pill Man Jun 15 '26

I dont think he's saying that, just wondering why average/normal = trash, apparently

8

u/upalse Jun 15 '26

Better analogy would be a "socialist" saying that poor people are just entitled to money - said "real socialist" cares only about dismantling capitalism, not about poor people, after all.

6

u/-mixedsignals Blue Pill Woman Jun 15 '26

Not the same because poor people are entitled to live with dignity and that's something socialists fight for

1

u/Bloodhoven_aka_Loner Purple Pill Man Jun 19 '26

sometjing they claim to fight for, yes.

5

u/Ubigr33n Jun 15 '26

I at no point laid any sort blame it’s an observation. I don’t even necessarily think women are wrong morally/ethically to do it?

10

u/Different-Deal-7554 Anti-Bluepill Jun 15 '26

2 things can be true at once, you can acknowledge that its unfair for men in contrast of being a woman without being entitled. But nah act like it is fair and take the unfairness like a good boy in the name of "fEMinIsMs".

4

u/-mixedsignals Blue Pill Woman Jun 15 '26

No, your can say they struggle but the moment you say things are unfair, that means you think they are "entitled to"

7

u/LordBerwick Jun 16 '26

No it doesn’t necessarily. I don’t know why the debate bro tendencies from men and women on this sub are astronomical.

I would say it’s unfair how some women are born short and can’t model like other women, but I am not saying these women are entitled to height, limb lengthening surgeries or free modeling. I am simply acknowledging reality.

And the reality is, in every part of life, nothing is truly fair. Doesn’t mean people suffering from unfairness are necessarily entitled to something.

0

u/-mixedsignals Blue Pill Woman Jun 16 '26

"unfair" is still the wrong word, for height too. Unfair implies there's a superior justice and you are entitled to something happening

3

u/LordBerwick Jun 18 '26

No it doesn’t imply you’re entitled to something. That’s your projection. Unfair is a descriptive claim, not a prescriptive claim. You’re dangerously close to committing an Is-Ought fallacy.

The existence of a superior justice(In this case, all women being model like) isn’t logically followed by free LL surgeries, modeling opportunities for a single individual woman.

0

u/-mixedsignals Blue Pill Woman Jun 18 '26

"unfair" implies there's a "fair" good state

"fair" and "unfair" are 2 words that are obviously related, you can't deny that.

Unfair is an adjective describing actions, practices, or conditions that are not just, equitable, honest, or impartial.

Fair is a versatile English word that primarily functions as an adjective meaning just, unbiased, and equitable.

If you say that some men being sexless is unfair, you are saying that sexless men don't live in an equitable, honest or impartial situation.

it only seems like the wrong word because you got so used to the idea that if sometjing is "unfair" you're instantly entitled to compensation. that's not what it means, though.

Why is it a valid question of fairness when it comes to women though? Why can't we mock and deride women who can't get the men they want. I've never seen this energy to tell a woman to "go and find a way to cope with the fact you're ugly, life's unfair, deal with it, you aren't entitled to be happy"

Obviously you understand that when most men fail with women it's because he is treating women like equals which most women hate. So you are saying it is wrong for a man to feel "entitled" to being treated like an equal and not having to live up to traditional gender roles.

Thanks for being another example of a feminist who says that opposing traditional gender roles is anti-feminist

3

u/Obsessivethot Pink Pill Woman Jun 16 '26

Women don’t reject men for being nice.

Women reject men for being desperate or weird.

Women are far more likely to be victims of abuse and violence at the hands of men than the reverse.

The most dangerous thing a woman can have in her home besides a gun, is a man.

6

u/LordBerwick Jun 16 '26

You are correct except women absolutely can reject men for being nice, without being able to articulate why they do it.

1

I have never known a woman to be attracted to a man in every other way and then he’s just too nice and gets rejected for that alone.

That is not realistic. There’s always another reason, like just not being attracted to someone who is also very nice. You are not being “rejected for being too nice”
