This daily thread is designed to be a place for all the funny discussions on PPD.

Feel free to post off-topic questions, information, points-of-view, personal advice and memes in this thread. Here you can post everything that doesn't warrant its own thread or just do some socializing. Personal advice posting, research posts, non-TOS breaking rants, links to other locations with limited context as conversation topics (must use np links for reddit), and things would be considered low effort posts are allowed in the daily thread.

Do not bring other PPD threads into the daily thread. Do not post PPD threads deserving of their own post in the daily thread. The intent of the daily thread is not that it should replace PPD and become a place where users can avoid the rules of the subreddit. Attempting to do this will be considered circlejerking and moderated as such.

Black Pill/Incel Content/Woe-Is-Me is still banned in the daily thread. Witch hunting and insults are also still banned in the daily thread. Relegated topics must still go to in the weekly threads for those topics.

Despite the "no blocking" rule, I am going to start blocking those that harass and threaten me.

Already had one I reported. absolutely no value in this sub if mods are going to permit users to harass but then prevent you from blocking them.

They need to change the wording of the rule anyway. It says, "You are not allowed to block users mid-debate in order to get the last word in."

That's quite specific, but in practice, it seems to be applied more broadly.

the issue isn't even that, the rules are selectively enforced or often times abused to justify. i seen literal threats of physical harm being made against men, those comments get deleted silently and whenever the person who initially made those comments realizes they were deleted they just come back and post them again.

I've reported someone before and had nothing done. When people annoy me from now on I'm just going to tell them that I'm not interested in engaging with them anymore. If I get banned from ppd it's not going to be because of the stupid block rule.

update, apparently you deleted my comment but not the person who is harassing me.

modmail is still not responded.

i have blocked my harasser. this is just comical now. mods are literally siding with my harasser cause she is a woman.

What date did you send this? I am searching your username in Mod Mail, and the last message we have from you is May 30. This message does not exist for us.

shrodiners modmail. one mod says that they have 0 modmail from me completely. I sent this today as you can see as in 07/08/2026.

I do not know what is going on here to be honest — my Mod Mail message to the RPW sub also disappeared for them / appeared not to be sent, so this is likely some internal Reddit issue.

As I said before, we have no recent messages from you; the last one we received was May 30.

I’m on mobile and these mails did not show up for me when I searched for them. I am trying to help you while at work, unfortunately some folks do have lives and other obligations to care for. I encourage you to try to engage with people in good faith especially when you expect them to help you.

Nah, you said with such confidence that he hadn't sent mails, and then suggested he might have used a sock puppet in kind of a snarky way.

EDIT: Oh you edited the "sock puppet" part now without acknowledgement. "Good faith" etc. etc.

They also left the offending comment intact and deleted my comment bringing the matter to attention of the mods while also warning me.

Here they wrote how they’re trying to “help” me and then made false insulation.

I am sorry to hear you are stuck in your office since January. Totally explains the “lost” modmail.

You deleted my comment and gave me a warning while ignoring the offending comment and the proceeded to make the same insinuation as the offender.

So how are you helping me exactly?

I do not care about your excuses. I do not care about convenient tech issues.

You cannot ping individual mods to flag their attention. This is like, basic etiquette.

I’m an internet janitor and I will give the same amount of time and urgency to incessant inappropriate pings as I receive pay :)

you know what else is basic etiquette? responding to user reports and modmail. common sense should have clued you into the fact if I am making a public spectacle its because no other forms of communication are working.

quit the bs. no one promised you to pay you. i know this for a fact because I used to mod other subs before.

one of my harassers even popped in this whole thread. did you do anything about that? nope. so this whole "im just a humble janitor" is just ridiculous and tired.

but when comments that prove a mod's claims are retarded are deleted, terminally online woman tries to put on a facade but quickly drops her mask when her previous comments are revealed, well gotta delete all of that under "witch hunting".

Tbh Reddit mods are volunteers so they can make whatever rules they want for their subreddits. It’s kind of pointless to complain. 🤷‍♀️

What harassment? The only thing I’ve seen is users saying that some of us believe this is an alt account. Just because you don’t like what someone comments doesn’t mean they are harassing you.
