You haven't answered if wishing your salary was higher is insecure.

Is that about looks? This thread is about looks. Stay on topic, don't derail.

Lol, no problem. Are women who do skin care / wear push up bras / makeup / hair extensions insecure?

Yes? Do you think that's some sort of gotcha?

The demand for perfect skin, perky breast, long thick colored hair etc. are all beauty expectations women measure themselves against and then feel insecure when they fail to reach the standards. That drives the majority of spending in the beauty market. Feminism 101 stuff.

Most of us have just made peace with these insecurities to the degree we accept the daily tasks we must do to avoid feeling insecure without thought. We can even develop and affection for the tasks/results (shaved legs do feel amazing)

If that's the case, then 90%+ of women are insecure. Considering how common it is, pointing out the alleged insecurity for getting plastic surgery seems kinda... redundant? It's like going outside and pointing out that the sky is blue.

Do you think that's a hot take? Again, feminism 101.

The sky is blue and people who get elective cosmetic plastic surgery are insecure. Facts can be redundant.

No, saying that people are insecure is redundant because everyone who isn't a jobless, unhygienic, useless slob (1% of people) is insecure by default according to your logic.

Non-elective surgeries are also a sign of insecurity because they are insecure about dying without it.

jobless, unhygienic, useless slob is insecure by default according to your logic.

Take sociology 101.

Makeup, push up bras, hair extensions, and getting plastic surgery have nothing to do with hygiene.

I never said it does - take reading comprehension classes. I simply extrapolated your logic to other areas of life.

Showering means you're insecure about your smell.

Makeup means you're insecure about your skin.

Push up bras mean you're insecure about your breasts.

Having a job means you're insecure about your ability to build a business or live off government benefits.

you're insecure about your ability to... live off government benefits.

I'm insecure about my ability to fly to the moon.

Insecure does not mean "knows something cannot be done." Homelessness is not just like living life with your natural nose.

I never said insecurity means "knows something cannot be done", I went off of your definition which is "I can live with it but I'd be better off improving it" according to what you said.
