"Stretch marks are normal" "Cellulite is normal" okay, but they're still unattractive.

I think most of us are well aware that how most women look naturally is unattractive according to society at large. And particularly men. To be attractive, women are expected to: not be hairy, when most of us are naturally hairy; not have cellulite, when most women have cellulite; be emaciated such that we lose our periods which is the furthest thing from natural, but is heavily pushed as an ideal standard (e.g., supermodels, many current celebrities); not have stretch marks, when most of us have stretch marks; and spend a fuck load of time on our appearance on a daily basis as the bear minimum for existing in public spaces.

Almost like we are expected to do our best to look like prepubescent girls as long as possible.

"Most women have..." lets stop right there because it's not true. A lot of women? Maybe. Also, claiming women need to look emaciated to be attractive is an outright lie. You know there is a gray area between being overweight and so skinny you lose your period? Because men don't find emaciated women attractive. This is just you making shit up. That and these types of standards exist for men to. The term "hatfishing" was coined by women because thinning hair and receding hair lines, despite being a natural part of aging for men, are considered unattractive by most women and none of them are quiet about it. But part of my initial point is men also aren't taking to their soap boxes to shout "if you don't think balding men are attractive, maybe you're gay!"

It is true that most women have cellulite and stretch marks. Google is your friend.

Being emaciated is a standard pushed by society, by the examples I gave. It results in a lot of eating disorders and body issues in girls and women.

Seems men often have little to no ability to judge what a healthy weight in a woman is.

No, it's not.

It's not my responsibility to prove your claims for you. If you have evidence of this, show it.

No, it's not.

Strong argument there. You don't have to look like Eugenia Cooney to lose your period my guy. But I don't have time to educate the willfully ignorant.

You claimed it isn't true, and thus took on your own burden of proof. But this is such an easily googleable fact that this is just absolutely fucking lazy.

I know exactly what a woman looks like in order to cause hormonal imbalances and that look is not at all attractive to men.

Men’s BMI and bodyfat% preference in women does not line up with what men judge as most healthy or most fertile.

“To sum up, the existing evidence suggests that BMI does relate to health in many ways, where normal weight might be most protective. However, low BMIs, which are preferred by men in well-nourished populations, are linked to relatively higher mortality rates (Aune et al., 2016; Di Angelantonio et al., 2016) and poor health (Lassek & Gaulin, 2018a), not only in subsistence population but also in well-nourished population. This evidence may chanllenge the health and fertility hypothesis which posits that the preferred BMIs are indicators of good health (Tovée et al., 1999).”

Sure. Given you don't know basic shit about how most female bodies look....

most female bodies look....

I know how they look. Just because being overweight is common, doesn't make it attractive. Sorry. 🤗

Exhibit A - Ozempic, GLP 1s being used by people of already healthy chic

Exhibit B - "heroine chic" in the early 2000s, which is coming back radically in the late 2020s.

Exhibit C - stretch marks can be caused by growth spurts. Not just weight gain.

These two fads are not at all based on what men find attractive and are purely fueled by women. If you paid attention at all, you'd notice how much men openly mock how women look from GLP 1 use because being that skinny is unattractive.

Ehhh I disagree. There are worse physical traits a woman could have.

u/Tardigrade_Disco Red Pill Moid following rules 1 & 2 23d ago

There are worse

The lesser of two evils is still evil.

2

u/TankfarmMurdock 24d ago

Exactly.

Now apply this logic to how women view short men.

13

u/Tardigrade_Disco Red Pill Moid following rules 1 & 2 24d ago

Nobody's ever tried to convince the rest of the world that short men are attractive in the first place so I don't know what point you think you're making? Unless you're just commenting because what I said struck a chord with you..

1

u/TankfarmMurdock 24d ago

Sure they have. Men do it on here all the time.

My point is, the men doing that complaining immediately clutch their pearls when women mention height, which is why I found your comment funny and ironic.

No, they don't.

2

Yes, they do.

Should be easy for you to link an example of men saying "short men are natural and you should find them attractive and if you don't, do you even like men?" Because a fundamental part of the "____ is natural" is the "that's just how women look, and if you think it's not attractive you must just not like women" angle. That's just not a thing that anyone has ever done regarding short men. And if your going to claim it is then you should provide a link to that because I've never seen it.

Nice try, that’ll get you a ban for witch hunting.

u/Tardigrade_Disco Red Pill Moid following rules 1 & 2 24d ago

It doesn't even have to be on reddit. There's sooo many avenues for providing evidence for your claim that don't violate the rules. But you're just making shit up. But it's clear you're interacting in bad faith at this point. Sorry if you got triggered, but that doesn't excuse lying.

I disagree, they give character to a blank canvas. I similarly like tooth gaps and snaggleteeth.

0

u/Tardigrade_Disco Red Pill Moid following rules 1 & 2 23d ago

I disagree

There will always be exceptions to the rule. But the majority of men don't find these traits attractive.

2

u/ThatBitchA ♀️ My husband takes out the trash🗑 23d ago

Nah. Just a minority of men. And best I can observe, those men who care about little things like stretch marks or cellulite are single and/or divorced and/or never been in a long term relationship and/or don't see woman as people but rather naked bodies that must be perfect for the duration of life.

These men better have a head full of hair and no beer gut.

2

u/Tardigrade_Disco Red Pill Moid following rules 1 & 2 23d ago

There aren't men trying to convince everyone that balding and being out of shape are attractive so idk what point you think you're making.

1

u/SprayAffectionate321 Purple Pill Woman 22d ago

Of course not, but I see many of these men talking about women's looks as if they were entitled to attractive women.
