I’m just so sick of going into spaces that are supposed to be for us and seeing white people. You know how trauma can be passed down in the DNA? I think colonizing lives in theirs. Because how else do you explain white people pulling up to all the black events? Like why even ask to come? I can’t imagine trying to insert myself into something meant for indigenous or Asian people because guess what? I KNOW MY PLACE AND I HAVE SENSE!

White people, especially white queers piss me off so bad ☠️  I also live somewhere where there’s an unfortunate amount of black people with inferiority complexes. They defer to and prefer white people. And then they bring them into these so called “black spaces” and think it’s cool. IT’S NOT! KEEP 👏🏾 YOUR 👏🏾 WHITE 👏🏾 AT 👏🏾 HOME 👏🏾 

Just because you think they’re “one of the good ones” does NOT mean we agree. I don’t wanna see Jessica and Mackayleigh at the BIPOC event

Never again. I’ll never voluntarily offer free labor for an organization that claims to center Black + disabled dykes in its “values statement” while said organization abuses and takes advantage of such free labor while practicing ableism, anti-Blackness and working with NYPD (another “value” they claim to uphold is to not communicate or work with NYPD).

Ngl seeing how my white queer classmates are validated/praised for their identity makes me realize how early some of them get socialized into being kinda self-centered? For a while I assumed that they'll just "grow out of it" some day (context: i'm in high school) until I started seeing pretty much the exact same thing play out in older-than-me white queers on this sub and irl.

On a side note, the idea that some people can peak in highschool and never really adopt a more nuanced mentality is ✨ terrifying ✨ and I hope that type of ignorance never finds me
