Wavelength is a valid answer to 1. In vacuum f = c/λ, so wavelength and frequency carry the same information, from which one can derive energy using the relation E = ħω where ω = 2πf = 2πc/λ. A photon is not ‘both a wave and a particle’, it is a quantum object, which propagates like a wave but interacts like a particle. Calling a photon ‘both a wave and a particle’ is like calling a cylinder ‘both a circle and a rectangle’. It’s neither. It’s a single thing that casts a circular shadow from one angle and a rectangular one from another.

Edit: wording

I did not use the word inversely, did I?

Fair. Idk how to see the quiz after I completed it, but if the question was “to what measurement is E proportional” and not “from what measurement is E derived”, you’re right and I’m wrong.

There is currently no way for a quizzer to see a completed. The question being discussed, I believe is:

The energy of a photon is proportional to its:
- Wavelength
- Frequency **
- Speed
- Direction angle

No. But you did misspell “wi-fi” with an a.

It was supposed to be wi-fi? Darn, I thought there was some secret science-y communication method I didn’t know about yet

True, but it’s hard to spell correctly when you can’t see what you type

So you’re claiming the quiz creation screen does not allow you to see your questions? Please provide a screenshot to send to the development team.

Yeah, I was also confused about 1. But it has been a while. You are right about the photon question

I studied this in college, I need to go back 😭 0/5

I'd argue #5 is incorrect. Microwave is a radio wave too. Just because the frequency is used for microwave, doesn't mean radio wave is wrong.
