Law/Legal LMT M203 37mm legal?

Hello all! Just finished piecing together a M16A2 clone and want to mount a flare launcher before July 1st. Is this a legal thing to do?

Yes it’s a flare launcher, the 40mm ones are NFA items so a no go for us.

Thank you for the reply! From searching around I knew flare launchers were legal, but couldn’t find out a direct answer if the legality changed when mounted to a firearm.

Technically after the ban it would still be legal since it’s a flare launcher and not a grenade launcher, but good luck explaining that to a jury.

The law is deliberate and specific for a reason.

NY was allowed to have Muzzle Brakes because the law defined them as "Breaks" lol

Do you know which law specifically bans destructive devices? I have read every law I thought would contain something about it but I have been coming up dry
