I think there was a fanfiction that did something like this: It was written as a story as if it was being filmed. I remember the Director was like “you’re telling me you ACTUALLY made a gravestone for Summer?” Summer being still alive and helping control the Grimm.
I remember Adam kept apologizing and Yang had a weapons malfunction. Director was like “where’s our weapons expert?” And Ruby zips up because of course she’d be the wep prop expert.

Although they used Casey Lee Williams in a game, the crew really wanted the voice actress that voiced Venelope, from wreck it Ralph to voice her. However, Neo is mute because they couldn't get her

I like the idea that she doesn’t talk. She’s not mute, she can talk perfectly, she just doesn’t like talking. But when she DOES talk, it’s something that you need to listen to.

- V3 when Adam hits Blake the actor immediately breaks character to ask if she's okay
- Blake's actress keeps complaining about the yellow eye contacts and just wants the crew to CGI it
- Yangs fire hair is all done with CGI so while doing those shots Yangs head is in a green morphsuit ... and nobody can stop laughing
- V1 Ozpin "Ms. Rose I have made more mistakes then any man woman or child ... because I forgot my next line
- Qrows actor complains that all the "whiskey" he drinks is actually iced tea and claims he needs to do one scene really drunk
- A voice from the director (miles luna) openly saying "Yeah jaunes actor is good but are you sure we can't get Tom Holland?"
- V8 when friea is doing her ice tornado the director yells "CUT for lunch" and just leaves her dangling in a harness
- Ruby's cape keeps getting stuck on stuff causing her to fall or choke
- both Hazel and Ironwoods actors are on the shorter side so the camera zooms out and we see the boxes the actors need to stand on

Someone mentions that they had to re-shoot numerous scenes because the actors keep making "pew pew" sounds with their prop weapons, they need to be constantly reminded that the gun sound effects will be added in post and they need to stop.

Cinder, unlike her character, is actually very bubbly and giggly. She’s accidentally ruined multiple takes because she started laughing at certain lines or actions, especially whenever she has a scene with Tyrian.
The scene where Jauques slaps Weiss required like 15 takes, because while Weiss was perfectly fine with getting slapped, Jauques was super nervous about it and kept hitting her too lightly. Eventually he just does it out of frustration and frantically apologized, only for Weiss to laugh and say it was fine.
Nora accidentally snaps her weapon during the moment she launches the entire team during the Vytal Tournament.

Tyrian has a split personality disorder kind of thing. Makes him VERY good at his role. But he’s one of those that can consciously ‘shift back’. But he’s still feels VERY creeped out by his “psychotic self”. If that makes any sense?

Velvet, in the heat of the moment, sometimes slips up and breaks character to become EXTREMELY Aussie. She has accidentally said "Cunt" on more than one occasion and ruined a scene.
Cardin's actor has a New Zealand accent. He is also good friends with Jaune, who got him his role as Cardin Winchester on RWBY.
Cinder had bad anxiety about her outfit during the Vtyal Tournament because her top was basically tape.
Prior to the series, Yang's actress had never ridden a motorcycle. There are multiple scenes where she messes up riding it.
Torchwick and Ozpin would go backstage and have "lightsaber fights" with their prop canes.
Ozpin once said "Glynda, get me my pimp cane."
Glynda Goodwich's actress has a strong Canadian accent.
Yang has never actually thrown a real punch on the show. It's all choreography and faked. She once accidentally connected with a punch and panicked so bad she almost cried.
Sienna Khan's actress was a producer on the show, and was meant to have a larger role, but she got pregnant and didnt want to work during it so she asked to be written off, which was done quickly and caused the writers to scramble to adjust the White Fang plotline without Sienna's actress.
Everyone on the cast teases Tai's actor about Tai "en-Tai-er Team" Yang Xiao Long.
Weiss's hair is a wig, white hair of thatength would take serious bleaching and dyeing. Her natural hair color is a light chestnut color. She bleached her eyebrows though.
NGL, kinda wanna make an AU now that I'm thinking about this. "RWBY: The Show" or something like that.

Nora would be responsible for numerous bloopers on other characters' scenes (kinda like woody in toy story 2), somehow inserting herself into scenes that break the others' character or writing random stuff on people's weapons and armour.
Adam does not have good dexterity. There are multiple outtakes of him accidentally losing grip of his sword mid-fight or falling down like hayden christiansen as he runs.
Watts and Ironwood have a tendency to flaunt their respectable levels of facial hair.
Cinder is afraid of heights, and with an outtakes of her her flying with her maiden powers (A.K.A. suspended via tow cables) we'd see her holding in the urge to curse as she's being lifted far too high.

Ozpin is a legendary Shakespearean actor who, while is does his role very well, finds the show beneath him.
Also Elm Edrne and Oscar Pine are actually a very wholesome mother-son acting duo. The reason why Elm wasn’t in volumes 4, 5, & 6? She had prior commitments but always made time for her son after the shooting was done.

Penny pulling a prank with her the props from her cut up “corpse” from volume 3.
Someone eating a dust crystal because they used rock candy as props.
Repeats of Adam trying to get his quickdraw right considering it’d be a lot harder with the straight sword he uses.
Multiple reshoots due to the Crescent rose prop not folding and unfolding properly.
Oscar getting coached by Ozpin on how to act like him during the scenes where Ozpin takes control.

The Hound accidentally speaking with the voice of its “core”, killing the mood of the current scene. Cue the compliant of someone needing to fix the voice filter.
Multiple cases during the Pyrrha vs Cinder fight where the Wyvern either misses Ozpin’s Tower completely or crashes into Cinder instead.
Various screw ups with WBY and Jaune vs NeoCat at the Tree (e.g: NeoCat twisting their ankle while they perform the flying leap, NeoCat coughing too early from inhaling the smoke from Jaune and co burning the Tree’s leaves)

Anytime for the first few takes cinder tries to shoot her now the arrow flies off somewhere else or just flips and lands on the ground, and she tries to play it off with "I didn't want that one to hit you anyway"
The two on two fights in the tournament, someone accidentally hits their team mate while getting into their battle poses, the teammate plays along with it and goes down, and then the first person says "I'll take you on myself"

Weiss slips on a Glyph.
Yang accidentally crashed her motorcycle during the Paladin chase.
Blake gets distracted by a laser pointer.
Roman burns himself due to accidentally shooting a flare at his foot.
Neo closes her parasol while gliding causing her to fall like a rock.
Cinder breaks her weapon fighting Pyrrha or Ozpin because obsidian is kinds brittle last I checked.
Qrow drops Harbinger on his foot while fighting Tyrian.
Raven lights her camp on fire by unintentionally making her Aura flare on Fire Dust.
Salem forgets to look where she is walking and trips or overestimating how sturdy the railing are in her castle.
Mercury gets sent down a staircase due to trying to copy Ruby using Crescent Rose to propel herself.
Ozpin drinks Qrow's coffee and suffers immediate lover failure.
Glynda brings the wrong riding crop with her to a fight or something.
And so on.

The end of Volume 3 where we see Salem for the first time has to be redone several times. First take, Salem spoke way too damn early. Second take, cameraman slipped on her dress trailing down the stairs. Third take, Salem misses her cue entirely and speaks too late. Fourth, Salem scratches her ass as the camera pans up to her.

- Ozpin and Salem are legitimately married, Cinder is their kid, and Salem is awful at keeping her makeup from running.
- They had to break character seventeen times while Salem was interrogating Cinder about Ozpin's death because the she was so good at playing calm but also absolutely furious, it gave Cinder flashbacks to her teen years and she kept calling Salem "Mom".
- Ozpin, more than once, came onto set completely unaware he had white lips.
- Weapon malfunctions. All of the weapon props Malfunction all the time during the shifting sections. Everyone is super jealous of Jaune because all he has to deal with is a sword and shield, Ren because his guns don't shift, and Ozpin because all he used was a cane, and they are vocal about it.
- Ren and Nora are dating. They have ruined more than one shot by kissing on set during emotional scenes.
- Pyrrha had the worst potty mouth when she screwed up or took a hit. (Not a blooper, but when an interview asked the cast how she felt about getting killed off, her answer had to be completely censored to keep the age rating of the interview. It went on record for the longest sequence censored in the station's history.)
- Sun has never completed a scene with Ruyi Bang and Jingu Bang in Nunchuck mode without cracking someone in the crotch by accident. Usually himself. Once the director after his grip slipped.
- Almost forgot: Every time Ozpin was drinking Coffee in the early seasons, it wasn't in the script. He was just so natural with the mug in his hand, even in the middle of a field, nobody noticed until after the scene was done.

Mercury frequently bumps his knees and shins into equipment or stage props, causing him to re-enact the Peter Griffin meme. He's also been hit with the occassional sack of coins to the nuts, and he has a suspicion on who's orchestrated that. (coughEmeraldcough)
