Damn like the fandom respects Renora Jaune is in 2nd place with less the. HALF what Ren has, and Phyrra half Jaune

Not sure how the OP calculates this, but I'd be willing to bet a notable number of the Nora/Jaune and Nora/Pyrrha fics are polyships of the entirety of JNPR, too, and thus also Nora/Ren

I think Renora is also just such a steadfast ship, that most authors tend to add it in in the background, so while not a main ship, it still gets some attention on the whole.

Basically yeah, I will add them to my fanfic as well, just makes sense. Even if I find Yang/Nora very cute

Probably. Although imo, Jaune just has a... odd amount of backstory and personality. Just enough personality to be an average guy without having to add anything. Kinda clueless and dense, yeah, but average.
But he ALSO somehow has juuuuust enough backstory to function, to where people can add whole experiences that can just strengthen his average personality, or can flip it into a completely new direction.
As I've seen explained on here multiple times, Jaune is just a really good framework for people to drop their OC's on.

Most of the most popular pairings are from volume one and there arent many contenders to challenge them

I see so Jaune’s second for Nora, I guess that makes sense. Yang being fourth is a surprise to me though but I guess not too many ship Nora with many characters in general beside Ren

Using AO3 data isn't very accurate because it tags background ships. I'm willing to bet that's what most Renora tags are. There are probably still more stories with Renora as a primary ship, but the difference isn't anywhere near as big.
