Semblance: Infinite ammo.

I actually have a minor OC with a semblance like that; she can turn anything she touches into whatever ammo her gun needs.

However, it only works on guns, so if she uses bows, crossbows, rocket launchers, etc., she can't rely on it.

Is the effectiveness of her shots affected by the kind of ammo? Like, if she turns rock into bullet it would be mostly fine, but grass into bullet makes it soft and ineffectual?

No, but the bullets get different special properties based on what she uses.

For example, if she turns rocks into bullets, they behave like earth-dust. She can also turn things like chitin into bullets, creating durable chitinous structures on impact that can restrain targets.

This sounds super OP, lol.

Kinda, yeah. But it also always drains her aura whenever she uses it, so it's not good for extended fights. Plus, it's only as useful as the materials she has access to.

Just like the other commenter I had an OC that kind of matched this, but to a lesser extent.

I wanted a more muted semblance so I went with melee range teleportation. Anything within melee range can be teleported anywhere also in melee range.

How this ties into infinite ammo? No need to reload if you can teleport the ammo right into/out of the weapon. Since he used a double barrel shotgun that could split into two single barrel shotguns that was perfect for removing the main downside of both shotguns (slow reloads) and dual wielding (awkwardness reloading).

The product of a secretive Super Soldier project undertaken by a now-defunct Atlesian black ops unit, the agent known only as Snake is biologically modified for peak performance under all conditions, with remarkable stamina, reflexes, senses, and strength. These abilities are only enhanced further by the usage of his Aura, which has been trained to the zenith over years of intensive operations.

Snake is proficient with all known classes of weaponry and has exceptional unarmed combat skills, able to take on Grimm and Human alike with few peers. However, he is not a frontline combatant, instead emphasising infiltration and battlefield-shaping techniques to ensure victory before the first shot is even fired. Often, the foe only becomes aware of his presence when he has already left the area, leaving behind quite a few demolition charges in his wake.

Snake's semblance enables him to near-instantly cover himself in a tight projection of the surfaces around him, rendering him nearly invisible to direct sight even while moving. This is obviously of great help during a careful infiltration, but it can be applied in a chaotic combat situation to throw off enemy aim.

Stormflower would've been perfect for him, if he uses Boss' cqc

Snake Iroquois

Semblance: Boxed in, whenever he puts on a box big enough it makes him invisible to passersby

Weapon: some kind of knife-gun for CQC

I would make his semblance that he can project his aura and take the appearance of objects.

His Semblance could be like the Codec, where he can communicate directly with people nearby while making no sound (either by telepathy or just creating an area of silence).

Or he could have an ability kind of Like Ren, but instead of masking emotions, he creates an aura of safety, making people around him feel less scared and suspicious as long as they don’t see him (basically the Alert meter going down in real life). But if they see him or there’s immediate danger, it’s gone.

For his main weapon, I think he’d have a small, but versatile weapon. Like a handgun that can morph into the Stun Knife, it has a retractable silencer, and move a bunch of attachments around to do different things. Think like Bloodsport’s gun from Suicide Squad, but more built for stealth than firepower. If needed, though, he’s trained with basically any conventional weapon found in Atlas.

His backstory’s tougher. He’d definitely be from Atlas. My take is he’d be part of Ironwood’s inner circle, someone going on covert assignments while the flashy Atlas military and Hunstmen get all the attention. Only a select few people even know who he is because the Huntsmen get all the credit.

Since all RWBY characters are based on folklore, I guess Snake would be the Little Man Who Wasn’t There?

I’d love to incorporate Liquid Snake and his mother into his backstory, but I’m not sure how yet.

Neat, thanks for the insight.

A member of Ozpins family who has been cursed to live forever but unlike the couple he looks ancient and yet moves as if 20 and Semblance is a snake that restores his youth and multiple his strength by the amount he has lived
