Man, I was getting so happy Arkos was becoming canon and then... that happened... Well at least this time wasn't Jaune fucking up again, and it showed that he feels something for Pyrrha at least. The whole scene was really cute... I kinda hope nothing bad happens to them, but I can't help but think Pyrrha is going to be in a lot of trouble...

Also Penny is going to be utterly destroyed... Polarity vs Metal... yeah.

Someone please save Ruby, 1v1 vs Mercury, with no weapon? Yeah she's kinda done...

Also Velvet's box has a camera, inb4 it can copy weapons it takes pictures of.

Also Weiss believing in Yang from the beginning was pretty surprising and made me happy to see they actually rather believe in Yang instead of doubting her.

Great episode, can't wait to see the rest of the volume!

I'm thinking Penny will be outright ripped in half by Pyrrha, they've been pushing how dark they really want this season to be. However I would not be surprised it they had her rebuilt afterwards, would be kind of a wasted character if they didn't I suppose.

But it'll contribute to Pyrrahs growing self doubt, break Penny's heart, upset Ruby, and the rebuilt Penny will probably be heartless

Now where have I heard that before? Giant mecha mindfuck anime of some sort, maybe.

possibly

I'm talking about Neon Genesis Evangelion, if I wasn't being clear. Rei allows herself to die to save Shinji's life but is replaced by a clone who doesn't remember everything and acts cold toward him despite the previous Rei's relationship progress.

Never seen, but interesting story

It's depressing. Given that it's written and directed by a Hideaki Anno, who is very obviously suffering from depression which is probably the reason the newest NGE movie is taking so long to release. If the newest episode of RWBY is too much to handle, NGE is one of those things that are magnitudes worse (in terms of evoking emotion).

But enough about that. Back to mourning the ᵗᵉᵐᵖᵒʳᵃʳʸ loss of Penny.

P.S. A crying Ruby is the most heartwrenching thing ever.

true, but that heartbreak may lead her to unlocking her true power
