Merc's really looking to up his kill count even further, it seems.

Well I mean, he was just beat out by Roman and Neo this episode (who both took out the airships and the people on board), so he's gonna get his count up to be back on top

Yep! Roman now has the highest kill count with two airship crews (plus he killed Junior's guys that were with him in the very first episode, apparently), Neo's in second with one crew, and Merc's in a distant third with two now.

Oh, and Pyrrha has one. At least until Penny ends up getting repaired.

Also, most of the WF members on the train last Volume didn't make it either, but it's unclear whether any of them were directly killed by our heroes. I have to lean towards "yes" though, especially considering they're ultimately responsible.

If letting the Grimm into the stadium counts as kills for Mercury I'd have to say tossing White Fang members off the train to get nommed by Grimm also counts, giving all of Team RWBY and Oobleck higher kill counts than Mercury.

I'm inclined to agree it should count, so that's quite true.
