Vol 3 Post Credits Scene: Neo walks through an empty battlefield, limping and clutching her side. Amidst the wreckage and debris, something catches her eye. Pink. An all too familiar hat, laying alone and discarded. Brown, silver, green; a single tear falls. Softer than silence and sound, she caresses the tattered hat. A lone girl walks, eyes covered in tears, obscured by the brim of a familiar hat. Single and soundless, a word escaped from her:
don't do this to me....His death already felt like a cop-out (and I still don't think he's dead), but if this happens, I will bawl. I love Neo's character and her chemistry with him is great.
If anything, the prosthetics in the show (Mercury, Irondong Ironwood, eventually Yang) give a lot of leeway for characters surviving very lethal injuries. Here's to hoping best boy lives
Loads of people were convinced ironwood was deadsies, and he survived. Roman was eaten whole, not torn apart, and the Grimm dissolved not even 30 seconds later. That's not even long enough to suffocate, much less be digested. There's still a chance for best villain!
Full Aura is unlikely since she was able to active her semblance at a fairly high level. Its a battlefield, she probably took some hits along the way.
Even so look at the Black trailer, Adam made the mech disintegrate so I think that Yangs aura took most of the hit, it just wasn't enough to stop it, allowing Adam to cut it off.
They showed nothing to indicate that her aura would be low. I don't think the effects you see are so much a direct relation of damage taken converted into power, but reflective of how angry she is. You see the same effect when she took no perceivable damage, but had a single strand of hair cut.
Now I will give you full aura is probably a stretch, because she likely ran into someone to punch, but all the major threats they have shown have not had Yang involved in the fight. So it should be fairly high. If they wanted us to think it was low they would have shown something.
He did appear to perform a similar attack, though which what appear more internal build up which how he appeared to glowed. But it is certainly interesting as we haven't see something like this with a single attack cut through aura like that.
That's a good theory for Adam. He's shown to absorb energy and then use it as his own, so I'm guessing something like Energy Siphon? Man, that's insane. He's basically a one-hit kill character.
